Don't know...didn't ask Corrine that but I would only be guessing based on my opinion and what the Premier said early on in the Pandemic in that he will do what he thinks is right for Victoria AND NOT WHAT THE FEDERAL GOV SAYS plus Vic has a very different socio eco system and culture...just look at the Gang violence we have seen in recent years, many many different nationalities etc and it IS the Unions that run the State compared to other States. I spoke to many teachers during the first lockdown and they wanted to go back to work but their Union was telling them NO because, and I quote them, a small faction of a hard lined teachers group, hence why Vic Students were the last to go back. I have heard, 2nd hand, from other sources saying the medical professionals and Police wanted a much harder lock down the first time because of the different cultures etc...heck even the NSW Gov tried to stop the protests but not here in Vic. The Vic Gov spent, and is still spending millions of dollars on testing but as seen people are getting tested like here at Northland, and due to the communication management, then going into the shopping centre rubbing shoulders with everyone else including the positive outbreak at the H&M store, and partying that night then the next day getting a negative result from their test. They then go out again with their new found confidence of being negative only to find out they are positive from the partying, H&M store etc after their test. The communication to these people was not done, the recent ADF calls is a shambles, the Police are getting different stories on what they can and can't do from the top. The top people have become YES men to an arrogant premier...the media can't get any real answers from him and he is always saying that he is in charge and the buck stops with him...what a narcissist. I have also heard from a colleague that the Vic Chief Health Officer feels he is the meat in the sandwich between what he is being advised by the Federal Chief Health Officer and the Victorian Premier. AAAAAARRRGGH I have had enough of this idiot...so I better shut up from now or else you guys will be saying the same about me

Just been talking to Corrine...now to put this into perspective Corrine is absolutely flat out from 9am to 9pm every day at the moment providing remedial services to health professionals (Nurses specialists etc), Police etc...Corrine has just told me that every one of them is in so much rage, stress and deteriorating mental health because they say the Premier just won't listen to them and never has throughout this whole Pandemic. So there you go...also straight from the mouths of Health Professionals and Police. Since when has the words that come out of a politicians mouth ever been the truth and why is there so much backlash against him now...because people are starting to hear the real truth...he has to go and today would not be too soon

Sorry Nev, haven't read the Herald Sun for many many years and have never ever listened to 3AW. There use to be a saying started by The Age Newspaper: If you can't think...read The Herald (evening newspaper many years ago) If you can't read...look at The Sun (morning newspaper many years ago) - They merged together to become The Herald Sun But Nev, how do we know that he IS IN FACT listening to Health Professionals...we have already heard reports that he is brow beating them just like his arrogance in his media reports and as reported in special editorials in the important newspapers (The Australian) and even today the TV stations (Channel 9) are making negative editorial statements about him Sorry Nev, having spent the last many years working in Gov I am hearing different things from ex-colleagues than perhaps you are but I agree, we will have to agree to disagree on this one

Nev, I am saying that he has lost all credibility with the people of Vic hence why people are no longer listening to him. He blamed the Fed Gov initially months ago and now he is blaming the people. He lost all credibility with me a few years ago when it was proven that he was corrupt back with the legal Euthanasia time. He kept refusing to even listen to the Legal Euthanasia group and in one statement said they were wrong. When his own father dies he supported them and pushed it through. Now it seems whatever he wants he will do and stuff everyone else and what they believe...what about all the other groups he won't listen to unless he himself gets something out of it. The guy along with the whole labour Party (Stacking) is corrupt, arrogant and is sending the State broke AGAIN...anyone got a spare 1.3 billion dollars YES 1.3 BILLION DOLLARS that he wasted on the Eastern Freeway contract cancellation...my kids are going to be paying for that 1.3 billion dollars plus all the wasted money he has spent since for years. I remember years ago when Kennett first got in after the Labour Party...they cooked the books and Kennett had to go on TV, almost in tears, saying the State was broke and Labour had again lied to the Victorian people...how many more Labour Politicians are corrupt and what do they do, appoint OTHER LABOUR PEOPLE to investigate their own corruption...what a joke...My Great Great etc Grandfather was the first Chief Constable of Police for Victoria and I am a direct descendant of the First Fleet and Victoria was the home of all my descendants since, and I am the last with all my family now moved interstate...I will soon be as well, for the sake of my children and their children

Just took my Son to work, he works casual at Nandos, plus just had a phone call from my daughter who is also at work, Caitlin works casual at Adairs bed linen etc. When I dropped Lachlan off the Northland shopping centre was packed, as normal...there was no difference in the traffic on the roads and Caitlin says she is much busier than normal...ALL OF THIS WHEN WE ARE IN LOCKDOWN The Victorian Premier has in my opinion lost any and all credibility.

I have purposely stayed in lock down since March anyway due to compromised lungs and leaving the house only for absolute essential reasons like going to the doc for a Flu Shot. However, at 61 years of age and not working the possibility of getting a job now is extremely improbable with interstate jobs that will be coming up out of my reach for at least another 1.5 months. So, it was a real hard decision today whether to stay here in Melbourne with the family or head off interstate as I still have a Canberra address and an ACT drivers license...staying with the family won out but it is going to be hard coming out of lock down in 1.5 months when the rest of Australia has been up and running over that time.

Talking about playing with things...I have in my head a concept of changing the word "Forums" into Discussions where discussions on a given topic are held within separate categories of Discussions, the same as we have now in terms of Forums, threads and posts BUT to also have a general "Forum" that is not displayed as Discussions but as a Facebook style of short messages and quick replies. Obviously these would be stored in a "forum" but displayed like facebook with its intention to be different from "Discussions"...if you can get the gist of what I am saying. Asked the family this morning on what to call that facebook style "Forum" and I suggested "Quips" but the kids didn't know that word...they only know "Tweet" and "Facebook Post" and "Facebook Reply". So the end result I am picturing is that instead of Forums we have "Discussion Types" (a forum) like "Science and Technology Discussions" where a "Discussion" (a thread) contains user's posts discussing a specific item. Then we also have "Quips" ??? (a specific forum that is hidden as it is just a storage area) that is for quick and short posts and is displayed like Facebook or Twitter. This all comes together when viewing the Whats New section...there is the standard Whats New as it is now for Discussions and another page for Quips where if you want to reply to a Quip you do so "inline" like Facebook. The Quips page is continuous and like Facebook the Quip subject and Quip posts just drop down and forgotten about. It is just an idea I am playing around with in my head but if it goes ahead we would have Social Media Quips, full fledged interesting Discussions, public or private subject Groups, personal Blogs, current Australian News, etc etc etc

It snowed last night... 8:00 am: I made a snowman. 8:10 - A feminist passed by and asked me why I didn't make a snow woman. 8:15 - So, I made a snow woman. 8:17 - My feminist neighbor complained about the snow woman's voluptuous chest saying it objectified snow women everywhere. 8:20 - The gay couple living nearby threw a hissy fit and moaned it could have been two snow men instead. 8:22 - The transgender man..women...person asked why I didn't just make one snow person with detachable parts. 8:25 - The vegans at the end of the lane complained about the carrot nose, as veggies are food and not to decorate snow figures with. 8:28 - I was being called a racist because the snow couple is white. 8:31 - The middle eastern gent across the road demanded the snow woman be covered up . 8:40 - The Police arrived saying someone had been offended. 8:42 - The feminist neighbor complained again that the broomstick of the snow woman needed to be removed because it depicted women in a domestic role. 8:43 - The council equality officer arrived and threatened me with eviction. 8:45 - TV news crew from CBC showed up. I was asked if I know the difference between snowmen and snow-women? I replied "Snowballs" and am now called a sexist. 9:00 - I was on the News as a suspected terrorist, racist, homophobe sensibility offender, bent on stirring up trouble during difficult weather. 9:10 - I was asked if I have any accomplices. My children were taken by social services. 9:29 - Far left protesters offended by everything marched down the street demanding for me to be arrested. By noon it all melted Moral: There is no moral to this story. It is what we have become, all because of snowflakes.”

I believe ALL kids should be taught Latin so they can get a better understanding of the English language and with that better understanding they will be able to know what word is best used when. For example the Latin/Greek 'ology" meaning "the study of"...we use "ology" today in English but understanding its meaning and how/where it comes from opens up knowledge in when and how to use it

Have heard from several people I know in the lockdown postcodes that many people there have already packed their car and moving out of the area to go and stay with friends...effectively now just moving the virus across other areas. I am telling you this State government and so called health advisors are just bloody idiots...they should be locked up in prison for attempted murder of many innocent people OR sent to a mental asylum for the brainless idiots

OMG how bloody stupid the Victorian Government and the so called health advisors are...just now heard on the news they are putting the hot spots into lock down, 10 post codes, BUT BUT BUT no problem, loved ones and family members from outside those zones are allowed to come and go visiting their family and loved ones in the zones when ever they wan. The young idiots from outside the zones go and visit their girlfriend/boyfriend in the zone, get infected and then travel back outside the hot spot zone and spread the virus to more areas and work places. What's more is that workers are allowed to also come and go and most of the outbreaks are coming from work areas of these people. I told you this Vic premier is a down right IDIOT and turning our State into chaos and will prolong our suffering for months costing our State more and more BILLIONS of dollars sending us down into spiralling debt.
