True that is why we need more of a user pays system. I have a idea, lets gets everybody to pay $7 when they visit the doctor.lol

They are not going to avoid going to the doctors over $7. Besides I never go to the doctors but I still have to pay the medicare levy every year.

The measly $7 isnt going to break the bank of poor people and most of those 'poor' people drink and smoke anyway which costs a fortune. At the end of the day, the deficit has to be paid back one way or another.

A lot of the spelling mistakes are caused by a number of things like using a iphone or similar small smart phone that have buttons are really small and the wrong button is accidentally pressed, auto correct is another. I have turned my auto correct off on my Ipad and Iphone. It is a real pain.

I have a question. Why or how can it be explained when some people have near misses but come away unscathed as if "somebody " is looking after them ? And some people just seem to have rotten luck and are taken out in a freak accident? Or am I just reading too much into it.

The way I see it, when we die one group is going to be right and the other group wrong. The believer is either going to say yippie, all that time wasted on earth praying was worth it as they rock up at the pearly gates OR they are going to think $hit everything is dark. The non believers are going to either think damn it we were right and its dark or $hit yeah we were wrong but I'm glad as they rock up to the pearly gates.

Our fighting fish is a year old now. Every month I scoop him up into a cup and I then empty out his bowl. I was out the gravel, filter etc. We fill the bowl up again, throw in water conditioner and wait for about 10 minutes. Then I throw his back into the tank. He loves it.

I was told a while ago that diesel was expensive here ( as Pete mentioned supply and demand) because of the mines which use a ship load to run their machinery.

What jacks me off is that Diesel is more expensive than unleaded. it is like us diesel drivers are subsidising unleaded petrol. Diesel is cheaper to produce.

How about that kiwi fella Kelvin Cruikshank ( or something like that) who has or had a TV show called Sensing murder. He is employed by police to help in cold cases snd has had a great deal of success.
