A minischool may be preferable to the existing church schools. Remember the cattleticks say give me a child for 5 years and i will give you a fool who believes in my god, or something similar.

I have always had style. I wear khaki shirts and shorts. have done so for at least 50 years and I cannot recall anyone ever saying that I didn't have style.

Poor mans Trump doesn't stand for anything. It is descriptive. Scott Morrison is all that you could expect from a failed Trump.

The sound emitted would change with changing speed. That is the reason a train whistle has a rising note as it comes towards you and a descending note as it receeds. Doppler effect.

PMT seems to be in trouble. Just watch and listen to his utterances on the TV news. He keeps coming up with a speech that says nothing. The other day he was saying about Covid, that we have to re think how we handle it. Is that what we want to hear from a supposed leader. We have to re think. No idea where the government is going with it's thoughts, at least not from the speech. He is scared stiff to say anything in case he upsets some of the electorate, so he makes a point of saying nothing in as many words as he can.

Independents are the answer, but where can we find them.

Lies and scare campaigns will win the day for the LNP. Labor doesn't really want to win going on their past performance, they will grab defeat from the jaws of victory. I only hope I am wrong.

So long as they don't wish the curse of the 7 blind bastards upon you. May your balls turn square and fester at the corners. Now that would be a wish.

Split the timber you drilled the holes in. A jap saw will cut 0.3mm kerf, then you can support the HDPE by just compresing the split timber in the vice you use to hold what you are drilling.

I can see you now slaving over a hot stove. Hope yours are as good as the ones my wife has been making for 65 plus years. How do you go with Shortbread? It seems that the Spanish flu was just about over in a couple of years. The current flu is nowhere finished, but then there are so many more of us and flu is a disease that thrives on big populations.

Now it seems the US is holding up money needed by Afghanistan. I don't doubt that the US would do that, it is par for the course with them. We keep hearing about the dreadful conditions in Afghanistan, with children starving. No doubt some caused by the US holding up money, but it cannot be laid at the feet of the Taliban. How could they be responsible for a two and a half year girl being so starved that he weighs about a third of what she should weigh? The Taliban only regained power in August, which doesn't give them time to have caused that weight loss. So what were conditions like in Afghanistan when the USA was running the place, and don't say it was an Afghan government, because it obviously was not. It would help if some countries accepted the Taliban as the government, instead of saying they will not recognise them. I can't see any other government in that country.

How satisfying is to to be an Aussie in England at the Moment?

I didn't know the story of the original dismissal, but it has happened in the last 30 or so years, but i cannot remember the players involved. As before the bowler firstly warned the batsman and then later made an appeal, which was upheld. -
What is the real news on Covid? Today it seems that the Omicron strain is so terribly dangerous. It is highly transmissable and supposedly the dominant variety. What happened to the really deadly Delta virus that we were all told was going to cause so much disease? Our pollies have no idea how to handle the problem now. PMT says no more lockdowns, but then he said a load of bull dust a year ago. Everyone agrees we must do what the medical experts say, but they don't know what the Omocron virus will do, although according to the media they have forgotten Delta. It seems that the general concensus it to have a booster jab and no doubt that jab will require another booster in three, four or five months. The Spanish flu, which is thought to have originated in China killed millions, but how long did it go on for and what stopped it in the end? I shall have to do some research if OME doesn't beat me to it.

It is a well known fact that old people who live in two storey houses are fitter than those who never need to climb stairs. The act of going upstairs to bed means you are getting good exercise. Another little known fact, or is it trivia is that those who have a sleep in the afternoon will be more likely to end up with dementia than those who don't snooze. So that proves that the exercise of going up to bed can be both good and bad for you.

I will mirror that, it is good to be able to cross swords in many ways with people who can take it as well as dish it out.

At least he didn't start another war when he was in there. Was he the cause of Putins current posturing? Would Putin be waving the war flag if Trump was president now? I can't see Biden starting a war, but then again I can't see Biden recognising that a war was starting. Trump was correct when he called biden Sleepy Joe, but maybe a sleepy president is best for us.

For me cricket lost a lot of appeal after the ball tampering. I don't think Smith should ever be given the captiancy. I know a lot of people say he is truly contrite and has gone talking to schools about the stuff up he created, but it's just not cricket. As was the underarm bowling in an Aussie New Zealand game. What does appeal is the few bits of womens big bash cricket. They seem to put more into it than the men. -
No change, it is well known that Trump is a sewer. He's been doing it for years.

Are they a well hung parliament or a parliament that should be hung? PMT and his mob has for ever been turning australian voters into "Me" electorate. Every thing they say has been to show how much money they have showered on us and to also imply that if we vote for them we will get more. Problem is that most of the money just disappears into their mates poockets. Now PMT has the temerity to say that there will be no more lockdowns and imply that it is all because of his good governance, when we all know that it was his bad governance that made the state governments step in and do what the feds decided was not their problem. Now he is promoting common sense, which is something he really does not want us to use.

Why worry about cattle producing methane. Due to the many dry years we have a shortage of cattle. You may have noticed they are fetching record prices, but that is because there are so few of them. What cattle there are now are being held as breeding stock to build up the national herd. Around where i live which is basicly dry grazing country, there are hardly any cattle. Both the owner of the airstrip and my next door neighbour seem to be destocked. That may please the vegans in the world, but I see it as a harbinger of real trouble. Our government controls who lights a fire to reduce the fuel available and I see it building up at a massive rate. Historiclally the fuel has been allowed to build up right alongside towns and subdivisions, with no thought about fire breaks. I have spent the morning slashing my paddock so that when the time comes I will be able to back burn with a better chance of controlling what happens, but I don't see others doing that. They will rely on the firies to come and save them when it gets a bit drier.
-
The methane produced by ruminants must depend upon what feed is used. Does a cow eating dry grass in the paddock produce the same amount of methane as one in a feed lot? I doubt it. The marsh gases may have been methane and CO2, but what is visible on those boggy places is water vapour. In some places gases can get to dangerous levels in boggy places and could have been responsible for the deaths of Bogle and Chandler. Who knows?

Probably on his buttis, but then again isn't that an old pommie word for sandwich.

Plastic bottles?

All those things we used to do are gone now and we import inferior products to replace them. Railway locos with asbestos on them leading to delays and costs. Shipbuilding just gone except for lightweight stuff up to ferry size. Steel that is poor quality and weldability is suspect. Wind turbines that are cracking. Aircraft manufacture, just killed by government. I can't see Albo doing any good, but he may try, which is far more than PMT will do.
