  1. I have had AF for at least seven years. They tried drugs and electric shocks but it didn’t help so now I do nothing and I think it is OK. Just don’t have much ability to jog or run.
  2. I have paid a dollar or so to stand in a tent at the show and watch Chad play half a dozen songs.. He was half pissed and I don’t blame him, what a rotten job. He was in a fenced off area in the middle of the tent and the punters stood all around him. He probably did the same thing ten times a day or more. I admire him.
  3. Nuclear would be distributed in exactly the same way as coal and gas fired electricity. The infrastructure exists already.
  4. Lotus has gone up!

  8. As an experiment I just asked ChatGTP to rewrite Wille's post in Australian. Here is the response: When it comes to Twitter superspreader accounts, how do they clean up the mess when old mate Musk is letting it all run wild on his plaything? In an ideal world, Elon would get bored of his new toy and flog it off to someone who knows what they're doing, but his ego’s too big for that. For him, buying Twitter was all about showing off and pushing his dodgy political views, boosting accounts that think like him. Shifting Twitter way to the right was the plan, letting all the misinformation accounts slide right in. Musk wouldn’t give a rat's if there was rubbish posted on Twitter, especially since he's one of the worst culprits himself. Despots and authoritarian mobs love it. Superspreader accounts can sway public opinion and elections in their enemies’ countries. Take the Kremlin, for instance—they use the 60/40 Goebbels propaganda trick. Dish out 60% legit content to win people’s trust, then the other 40% is mostly BS aimed at those who don’t buy the 60% truth. Feed them rubbish, conspiracy theories, and any other garbage to win over the disgruntled. Once you’ve got that 40% on side, use them to mess with and influence the 60%. It’s a simple but effective way of spreading propaganda, and it works a treat.
  9. If I went anonymous on social media I would not know who I was.
  10. I use a nose mask. There are two types. One puts little bungs in each nostril, it is uncomfortable. The other has pillows as they call them a over your lower nose and is very comfortable.

  12. I have it and have used a machine for about ten years. CASA made me take the test and I am glad they did. I love the machine, it allows me to sleep soundly and quietly and I am sure it has extended my life.

I did my best this evening.
  14. Glod is a village in Romania, it was used as the location of Borat's home in the movie. It is not on the coast, but I reckon they could beat Geelong.

    2024 Budget

Our current PM makes me feel ill. He is shallow, inconsistent and destroying what Hawke/Keating achieved. I have not been able to look at the budget summaries either for that reason. Mr Potato head is starting to look viable to me, unattractive as he is.

  22. One good thing about getting old, we watched a disaster movie tonight for the second time and didn’t know how it ends.
  23. One thing the world could do immediately to reduce carbon emissions significantly is to ban bitcoin and it’s mates. A totally unnecessary consumer of electricity.
  24. Clever is robotics and automation in mining, computer simulation of orebodies, optimisation of excavators. That is really high tech stuff and Australia leads the world. It isn’t stupid digging.
