This could have been under the banner of Science, or Politics, or Health or even Religion. It relates to all these.
There is a debate to be had about the right to remain anonymous on the internet.
One side claims ....
"We do have a right to remain anonymous in public spaces, it is a fundamental invasion of privacy, to force anyone to put their name to a social media comment"
The other side thinks that naming the content source will help control misinformation.
Would the benefit be worth the loss of privacy?
Part of the issue is the plan to force ALL social media users to prove they are over 18 years of age (and who would hold the personal data that proves age,etc)
