Thats why it is so much fun. And even without Targa, there are lots of wannabe rally drivers. Just try driving to the conditions and soon there will be a boy racer on your back bumper, or passing you on blind corners - no wonder they have to repaint the double lines every year, they get so much tyre wear.

They did back down, but that was quite a while ago and several things have changed - NK now has a different top man, and NK is now armed with nuclear weapons. And I hazard a guess NK is not so easily bluffed now.

Wet? WTF is wet? Last night our firies went for a drive through some nearby forestry that was burnt out back in '19. We saw that thousands of acres have been replanted and now are dense young blue gum forest. The ground fuel load is higher than it was back in '19. it is so dry that most dams are dry. The ground is dry, subsoil moisture is lacking, relative humidity is low. All is a tinderbox. We are just hoping that there are no sparks until the rainy season starts. But that is still months away.

I feel that the vacuum left behind Pootin's death, will be a very worrying time. For all the shortcomings of our democracy, we always have a replacement waiting in the wings. Who or what will replace Pootin when his time comes, as it will inevitably must?

When hubby left the country with 12 million in his pocket, wife has a big motive. If it was the Kremlin's work it wouldn't take 12 shots and the run over to make sure. Kremlin only need a cup of tea to do it.
