It’s ironic how all talk of the Democratics cheating snd rigging the election seems to have been suddenly forgotten. I wonder if it might occur to the MAGA crowd that maybe Trump didn’t win in 2020 after all, and that the Democrats were right to say that he was lying to them. Well, they’ve got the leader they wanted, so now the world will have to live with the result. It could get worse. If Trump has a heart attack, which is on the cards in the next four years, we’ll get Vance.

Melania won’t be happy with this inconvenient interruption to her social life.

His MAGA supporters have high expectations of what he can do for them. It will be interesting to see how they feel about him once they finally work out that he's not making them and America great again, but notice that his friends and hangers-on are doing very nicely.

Looks like the orange clown will get back in, unfortunately.

Work always seems to expand to fill the time available. Retirement work doesn't pay very well though. -

I can do the bend no problem. It's getting up again that I struggle with. -
I've already started.

It will come down to how many people in the swing states make the effort to vote. Trump may generally have the edge in the polls but they only measure voting intentions, not votes lodged and counted. Anything could happen at this point and Joe is not helping.
-
They won't have to. He'll do it for them.

It will be interesting to see if the polls are right. They have been wrong often enough before. If Trump does get back in it will also be interesting to see how many MAGA supporters still think he’s their saviour in a year from now. They will all be worse off, as will we most likely, but they may then finally start to see him for the moron that he is.

I think the Democrats realise that alright but they can’t mount a strong counter argument because the border is chaotic and they are in charge. If they say the immigrants commit fewer crimes than the rest of the population the Trump voters and a lot if the swing voters won’t believe them and Trump will just rubbish them for it. They can’t win that argument.

Michelle Obama at a rally in Michigan yesterday comparing voter expectations of Harris and Trump: “We expect her to be intelligent and articulate, to have a clear set of policies, to never show too much anger, to prove time and time again that she belongs,” Mrs. Obama said. “But for Trump, we expect nothing at all, no understanding of policy, no ability to put together a coherent argument, no honesty, no decency, no morals.” Probably sums up why Trump is still in the race and may win, unfortunately. The bar for him is very low.

He’d be more likely to put the price up.

That is awful!

They've seen the reno in progress and decided to move to a better place?

If there is an afterlife then I think we're all headed there, no matter what we believe. If there isn't, then we're all headed there too.

The difference between being alive and not being alive is both subtle and strange. Who really knows what happens. I suspect the lights just go out, which seems a bit disappointing, however I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised one day.

Yes, it’s a well known quote but judging by the photo, I don’t see much evidence to back up the optimism.

Looks young enough to be his grand daughter. Wishful thinking, Nev.

He’s provided plenty of evidence that he doesn’t have an IQ of 150.

On the other hand, he may lose badly.

She is campaigning to contest an election. She is serious about and has spoken about the Middle East and many other topics. Trump is also campaigning but has nothing to say about it except that it wouldn’t have happened if he had been in charge, which is complete nonsense. Updates about the conflict are available practically all day, every day on any news broadcast. There is no reason for people not to be well informed if they are concerned about what’s going on, which we all should be.

There won’t be a civil war but it will be chaotic because both camps expect the other side to cheat and rig the outcome and both sides are already heading for the courts.

In 2020 I drove from Portland, Vic to Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road in a day. The ocean was flat calm all the way out to the horizon for the whole trip. Not a ripple or even a shore break. It looked like a lake. I've never seen anything like it. A very rare day for Bass Strait.
