Then that law needs change . No good, a law that makes people criminal should be changed . octave , I was stopped at the intersection, on a green light, ( congestion ahead ) I started off , then the light changed Amber , no rush , it's usually three seconds before the red , so didn't accelerate. I was almost over the line , when it turned red . half a bloody second to catch my rear end with my back-wheels over that line , just the quater panel in the red zone , any vehicle could pass behind me . To answer that !. I safely, but slowly crossed a traffic light intersection on the green . The light changed and I was fined $ 500 for my one half second on the red . we are obliged by law ! , to obey , to the letter of the law . Can I , change that . spacesailor

The law ( road rules ) states " any vehicle " no matter where in the roundabout has president. give way . You could cop a fine ( revenueing ) . spacesailor

My ' dumb ' meter ' tells me the cost ! I just ' note ' the " analogue " reading then deduct that from the final reading , multiply by forty cents That will be ( with the stat cost ) my bill . If I get it all correct. LoL spacesailor

stupidest law , that stops a vehicle turning left at a roundabout ! , . if vehicle has entered from your left . And no traffic on your right . Am I missing some logic here . spacesailor

" beaurocracy ". we have ,(almost) a nice new ' roundabout ' at the end of our road !. the outcry of bad design is drowning out our applause for the speed of construction and efficiency, by those that are NOT trapped in this road . who's to blame ! . the ' road hogs ' who won't give an inch , to let others get in front of them .
