    The old horses either did read , or memorise the road signs. As they walked to the corner , then stop at the " stop " sign . The driver would walk past then wait for the horse-cart to catch up ,( while chattingto his customer ) . Bread milk coal & tinker . People would rush out to ' pick up' the horse shit for the garden .     Buy more glasses . Loose one get another to find the missing pair . My neighbour jammed his chainsaw in the tree he was cutting. I told him " buy another chain " & Finnish the job , then pick up the old chain . Tie the jammed chain to save it . When it was all done climb the ladder to untie his missing chain , & he has a spare . Happy neighbour .LoL spacesailor

    No house panels for me , plus a drive Sydney to Dubbo . Seems just outside the EVs range, then having to pay someone to charge it . Taxi from charging station to lodgings & return . It will be awhile before those charging stations are everywhere. Like today's servos . 85 then Bureaucracy takes my driver's licence. Age persecution. spacesailor

    Smart TV can zoom through the commercials by recording the program your watching, so when you make the tea & popcorn . You go back to the part you didn't see , then fast forward through those adds . Untill you catchup . spacesailor

    No. The " riser's " will have heaps more strength . Those "footplanks " sit on the " riser " .just needs the Angle bracket to support the footplank end . They need moving. spacesailor

    I do it the cheap way . Go find a street to park in within walking distance. I have a few times , knocked on the house door to ask for their permission. One woman insisted I park my car & empty boat-trailer On her front lawn for the weekend . I payed with a couple of fish . She wouldn't take a $5 note .
