    I have witnessed three small businesses. Shut down by that taxman . They Were solvent , untill the Tax-man put locks on their door . Not even a 24 hour delay was tolerated, in their ' tax payment '. spacesailor

    The newer caravan's are ' much Much' wider in their living rooms , probably 14 ft wide when both 'extendarooms' are moved outwards. My (old triple axle van was 9 ft wide ,without extenders. 39 ft length. Then the annexe 30ft X 12 ft ,two rooms. spacesailor Pas. : it looks like a motorhome/ bus / aircraft.

    Sydney, showers all week ,plus we're ' smoked out ' now . A big heavy downpour would be nice at the moment. Wash the smoke away. Have very just plugged in our 'air filter' to let us breath a little easier. One elderly lady is suffering but refusing to go to hospital. spacesailor

    " I am guessing 7%-10% " . The poorest of people pay 10 % gst tax . ( on food ). so how about a bit more here , then perhaps we may drop that gst to 7% . spacesailor

    The only ' rice ' I eat is a " baked rice pudding " . Rice itself doesn't have much taste . Only starting to eat " noodles " a little now . I prefer a " roast potato " . Each to their own . spacesailor

    Too much taxation in Australia. I saw the " registration cert " for a Ute. more tax than registration fee . I can't see how a tax percentage of that fee could Be higher than the fee ! . spacesailor

    red750. My grandfather was reported " killed in action " a headshot . But even though his mates never checked him out. The ' advancing Russians ' sent him to their hospital. After three years and a silver plate skull piece. He returned home to find his wife remarried with a new child . That was grannies fifth marriage. That was officially annulled, & his quickly civil marriage his second . spacesailor

    All traffic lights are annoying. The posted speed limit is exactly, the speed to stop you at every blooody light. 4 or 5 k's over & every light is green . Revenue Raising , every time , filling those Stste Coffers. spacesailor

    My neighbours require ( need ) their neighbours tree' s Pruned or removed . They have zero sun in winter ( my property is affected too ) , the trees are within striking distance of their house . But, according council those trees are more important than human beings . Plus insurance problems costing more in premiums. Me 'a good neighbour ' got him up the ladder to cut the tops off . stick that were it hurts, Bureaucrats . spacesailor

    No " passport", but beware of those " Agricultural " border checks ! . Buy ' cheap ' groceries before leaving town , only to have all your fruit & veggies seized , then returned to the store , ready for the next " grey-nomad " . ( they live in that town, so it must be the locals ) . spacesailor

    I have seen that " thermal solar " were the sun was directed onto an area creating steam! . Also used for cooking by boiling Food in " hot springs " . Not for me , I like my food fried/ roasted . New fanged " camp cooking " .just isn't the same without that " camp fire " for the ' marshMallows ' . LoL spacesailor

    One diesel rumour was the outback stations were not pumping regular petrol due to ' young people sniffing ' the fumes .so I changed from petrol to diesel to be certain I could get fuel wherever I needed it . Try Buchanan hwy WA . Keep driving east , from Stuart hwy . Topsprings service station. Then Buchanan hwy,to Timber creek WA . spacesailor

    I have three good working ' laptops ' , The problem is all the WiFi receivers are outdated. they still work well " wired " . That means take the laptop to the modem, or get a long Long wire . spacesailor
