5 years ! . I've kept beer longer than that . Only to have my grandson tip that six-pack down the sink . Who knew , " beer goes off ". Then, I don't drink , other then to be sociable. So , my son in law & my neighbour and I had a glass of " wild Turkey 101 " yesterday. My first drink this year . Hopefully not addictive. LoL spacesailor

Were would be the ' Fun ' . in " driving miss Daisy " or your lover to a picnic, I enjoy driving, IF , We ever go that far to be " obsolete " it will a great shame. The same as travelling in a vehicle without windows. (It's the journeynot the destination ) . Or , walking through flower gardens without the smell . Horses are ' obsolete ' ( as transport ) but people still ride , for fun . spacesailor

Pay forward , ' done ' I worked on a car for free , to help my neighbour . Their lock had frozen & I supervised him how to disassemble, then repair And tomorrow we may get it " all " working , without buying new ' expensive ' parts . spacesailor -

They ( Mitsubishi ) took a ' Mitsubishi Star wagon' & put a ' Pajero ' running gear under it , to take take tourist & skiers up the ski-fields in Japan. Made a wonderful vehicle. Converted to a " bedsitter " camper-van . spacesailor

He has previously hired commercial trucks .as needed. As he doesn't live in London & whenever he gets a contract there, it's was cheaper. But. Now, he can't drive himself ( in his Audi ) to check the new job . So, out with the Audi & park the new ride in London . When he wants , not needs . In any area . LEZ rings a bell !. spacesailor

Living in a city that " banns " IC VEHICLES. What choice do you have . I know of one individual who has ditched his IC " car " And bought an exempted short " lorry " . Expensive to register. But he is a happy chappie . Now . Londoner UK spacesailor PS : he has a ' fencing ' business to circumvent their laws . He normally drives a top of the line Audi .
