I once ticked my religion as , " BBC " , the Sunday only religion . It wasn't appreciated at all .then ( after the caning ) I was asked why ! . My ' single ' parent had renounced the church . But . After her death it was in her will to have a " Christian " burial. I scattered her ashes in her favourite park , with most of her descendants there. spacesailor

My rateable value is now $ 900, 000 . As the realestate value is $ 1,200,000, I must have a very cheap house . SO . I'll sell the house at the realestate value, Plus the council value. Equals a good saleable price. spacesailor

10 year battery life ! . I'm 82 this year , what good will my paying $ thousands for solar , without the rebates . I'll still be paying out for the power bill , without the interest on the money removed from my bank account. spacesailor

nomadpete I presume you didn't get ' hospitalised ' much at all . In my school life I've seen lots of brutality. Blnding . Ruptured eardrums . & , Broken bones were commonplace . Not a lot of ' education ' , but you learnt to duck very quickly .

Pensioners cannot get " credit " cards , they have to use their bank-card instead . We have the ' largest firm ' backing our debit but are treated like lepers. spacesailor

I believe ' most ' supermarkets ' let you have " cash-out " . Less for them to carry to the bank . Now we pensioners, are being charged a couple of dollars, when paying by " debit card " not just credit cards . spacesailor
