I worked for a ' super sized ' conglomerate company, When I started it had 2,000 plus workers @ a couple of hundred ' office ' staff , after 15 plus years there were ' 2,000 ' office staff , & less than 200 factory floor workers . $ millions spent on automation . Cheap flying , with an instructor , compared to ' charter with a pilot ' . My normal instructor thought I was good enough to go solo , untill I met the senior ' chief flying instructor. I am happy Happy-go-lucky . But yes , it is depressing when told to stop wasting your instructor's time . It put me in a very depressed state for a couple of years . spacesailor

Those Old suburbs on the quarter acre block , are ripe For putting four or six cramped boxes in the place of one with a lovely garden . Even get a " highrise " block of 80 unit flats on that big block . spacesailor

Today's ' new policy of ' evicting low density housing residents ' to build 'high density flats ' , seems a little harsh , after that " Home-owner " has worked the Old system, only to find the new system has made them .
