    Never use a card outside of the one & only Aldi Supermarket . When first arrived in Australia I rang the Parramatta " Woolworth " , to check if I could pay with Thomas Cooks travelltr's cheque . The answer was " yes " . Two full trolley's later the cheque-out girl declined our money . so left those two full trolleys of groceries at the counter . Then went elsewhere. ( possibly Franklin's (black&gold ? ) . spacesailor

    subsidies. This government has it's 'solar ' rebate scheme back to front .If they want more power into the grid then those lower consumers, should be getting the largest subsidies. not the the cut off minimum . spacesailor

    My parents house in NZ was made of 1 inch by 18 in inch. ( rough-sawn ) KAURI wood . When selling , the first ' realestate offer ' was less than the Timber's worth . When pointed out that I could sell the timber & still have the land to sell after. They soon upped that selling price . All the timbers. Were KAURI. 100 years old . spacesailor

    I can ' theoralize ' that the smoking thing could have been a way of saving fire , to pass it on to other people. That " smoke " would be a by-product. spacesailor

    May I quietly make a couple of points ! . 1. " Santa Clause " a genuine ( generosity ) person who was canonised by the church for feeding staving children in Germany . Saint Clause . 2. I don't object the ' ceremony ' only that " smoke " . Since cooks & subsequent European peoples have been here . How many time have the " smoking Ceremony " been recorded before the year of 2000 ! . spacesailor

    Any potential fires that could ignite a major ' bush-fire ' , Should / no must be banned . Irrespective of the reason For it's lighting . Whenever there's a total ' fire-ban ' . why should any Australian be exempted. ( please sir, it's only my dinner cooking ) . spacesailor

    Yes I did get caught up with a " smoking ceremony " . In the city got squashed by a great throng of people . Then that smoke came . It wasn't too bad , but I removed ( and possibly upset some people ) my self , as quickly as possible. spacesailor

    I ,object strongly . As a father of an " acute asthmatic " . Any polluting smoke should be banned . I am also asthmatic but only a litte , when those ' deliberately lit fires are burning, We have to put ourselves in jail , doors & windows shut tight running an ' Air-filter '. 400 people died in Sydney ,after the fire's started that huge choking smoke, that put the wife & I into hospital . spacesailor
