I've worked most of my life " shift-working " .I must have adjusted well,as I can still get to sleep ( quickly ) even with the wife watching TV. spacesailor PS : since my prostrate op, I wakeup almost every 70 ish minutes. A Quick pee , & back asleep again . No problems,

It ( dirty eyes ) is like ' looking through a " fly screen '' or fine curtain . I call those shadows " dark caterpillars " as they moved little. Eye test result 19 .18 , not 20 . 20 vision . spacesailor

You can see that one hour , that all & sundry cry about. So , one standardised time plus that nasty one dayilght saver hour . BUT Long retired & go to bed when I want , then getup when I want . spacesailor PS. ( a minority that gets closer to equality. as I GET OLDER)

" Specsavers " . Always sends us reminders. ( the wife & I , by post ). And, I have never bought specs from them , they did a couple of eye tests. Then tried to sell me glasses. Turns out my eyes are 'dirty ' LoL Had to go to a different optomatist to be told . spacesailor

You need a new phone! . A little off topic . J A. Said , some will find many services more difficult. I went to pay my NRMA account in Parramatta. But they don't take cash !. I then put my wallet away, & said ," can I at least cancel my membership" . The look was dangerous , to say the least . Question, how do they repay your cancelled insurance policy refund . without cash . Or is it money in their pocket . Not a bad rort . spacesailor

My Galaxy tab's A I . Keeps changing words that could have fitted in, but, then that sentence is not what I am trying to communicate. So who wins . They ( whoever ) is programming A I . Have you tried the " New heat pump " hot water ? . The one I used ( in the UK ) had the switch in the kitchen. SO When you forget , you traverse the house from bathroom through lounge to kitchen, to switch ON . then return, soaking wet to that bathroom. Great if you have company. A good conversation starter . IN the cold U K . ( good job they only shower once a week ) spacesailor

I ' liked ' ( past tense ) climbing ladders and all things ,that needed doing , " pride ". now I'm worried about the strain on my arms .yes I know use your leg muscles . Broken right elbow, now ' bursitis ' in the left elbow . Trying to change from ' right handed to left-hand '. At the moment I'm in nappies after my prostate surgery. Just a little incontinence, no worries, only 6 to 8 weeks They say . Should I laugh. NO I'll dribble. spacesailor

Same in Sydney. So emptied my 2000 ltr water tank. Just to tempt fate . Then that monsoonal rain stopped. Bright sunshine. Grandchildren's Windsor house didn't go under. ( this time ) . spacesailor

But when unwell/injured. It becomes a " godsend . But. Netflix opens more of everything you need, to dull the boredom . Including ' airplane movies & doc's spacesailor
