Considering moving to Australia from Southeast Asia.

Natn, Australia can be good or bad, just like any place. My workplace is very multicultural, my team of 9 people includes people from Vietnam, China, India, and Pacific Islands. Everyone gets on well. Respect and inclusion are key, most people are nice. Of course there's always some intolerant and racist idiots around, but again that happens everywhere. -

Not if you live home on the range. Bloody chooks - 2 of ours had chicks, first lot of 9 are grown up, but because it's winter the buggers aren't laying yet. (Apart from the 3 roosters, who are laying their mother, sisters and aunts on a regular basis - true Tassie chooks!) Mind you the neighbour is taking those roosters this weekend, so they'll be casserole by Monday.

The difference is that the PM is simply the person who his/her party elects to lead them. Albo is currently doing a good job but if he were to fall off the perch or do something stupid, someone else in his party would do just as well. (I think Jim Chalmers the current treasurer has real potential.) It's not a popularity contest over here. We elect the party, they choose the leader.
