Ah, the whole "religion is a good argument for atheism" situation. Basically if those brainless twats are the best supporters that god can get, either he's incompetent or non existent.

How's your acting skills? Become a "true" convert, work your way up into senior leadership, then hollow the bastards out from the inside. Start trickle feeding some logic and fact in, then move on to progressive agenda items. Before you know it you'll have an ACL float in the Mardi Gras!

Never Seen Before Footage of Twin Tower Collapse

Pots and kettles -
I'd suggest that's either made up, exaggerated, or some idiot staff member got reamed out for doing it.

I've just applied for visas for an upcoming holiday. I thought they did it pretty well - you upload a photo of your passport (info page) and a photo of yourself taken that day. It scans the two and gives a % similarity, and if it's over some level, it lets you continue. I scored 78% with different beard and hair colour (my passport is from 9 years ago - hair is a lot whiter now!) Obviously the problem there is that not everyone has a passport. But if you have a driver's licence which most people do, it can compare the details from that to the state's records to ensure the licence is valid, then compare the photo to one taken today, compare your address to the electoral rolls then take you to a secure area to cast your vote.

We do banking and pay bills online. There's more incentive for criminals to go after money than change votes. There would be ways of making it secure and trustworthy.

Even snail mail for voting is so last century. In any sort of business vote - RA-AUS for example, or companies you're a shareholder of - you can vote online. It shouldn't be beyond the imagination and technical ability of the AEC to come up with a way to verify your identity then cast your vote online. Let's face it, at the voting booth you give your name and address (which you can see in the book if you can read upside down) and they cross you off. They don't ask for ID and they don't know you, so theoretically you can walk into a dozen polling places and steal people's votes.

I don't know that it was just for that. Apparently he wore a fat suit in The Whale anyway. He got out of movies for quite a while and I think there were some things going on in his life, not sure if the weight gain was a symptom or a cause. He's been in a few movies recently, and he seems to be around that weight.

ABC news radio for me.

Actually they are the same actor - Brendan Fraser.

Space, I'm quite worried about you fiddling with the switchboard yourself. I don't mind hooking up the occasional power point but I wouldn't go near the switchboard. Still interested in WHY no sparky will work on your place.

That's the rub, isn't it. If Angus Taylor or Dutton himself comes on ABC Breakfast and pushes an idea paid for by the fossil fuel companies, and they get questioned on it by the presenter because it IS at odds with scientific fact, then you get complaints about bias. If politicians stuck to facts, I'd agree with you 100%. My thesis is that the LNP sticks to facts less often than the ALP, and that's where the perceived bias comes in. I'm not saying that the ALP are perfect. I'm disgusted with a lot of things they do including the total failure to implement a complete ban of gambling advertising. This despite one of their own members having led the review which recommended it. I WANT the ABC to hold all politicians to account. I want the reporters, editors and presenters to be highly intelligent and knowledgeable people, which for the most part, they are - and I want them to ask the hard questions and not back off whether it be the PM or the leader of the opposition. If they do that then they're doing a public service and worth every dollar we all pay for their existence.

That seems a bit random...

The "both sides of an issue" thing is difficult. If there is a contested viewpoint then yes, of course both/all sides should be discussed by respective experts. The problem lies in issues that are no longer widely contested. For example you wouldn't have a segment on whether the Earth was flat and give equal time to a flat-earther. There's obviously a spectrum of where issues fall in terms of science and politics - many in conflict between those two - and I'd lay money on the fact that the reason the ABC often gets accused of partisan politics by those on the conservative side, is because conservative policy is often at odds with science.

Do they brush their teeth twice a day, floss, go to the dentist for a checkup and clean every 6 months and not eat too much candy?

If you want good government, ban lobbyists and political donations. If he who pays the piper calls the tune, then the only people paying the political parties should be the Australian people.

I can't see the airbags... and how does it do lane change assist when there's no mirrors??

The ABC is funded with public money but in no way is a mouthpiece for the government, no matter who is in. In fact you generally find that both the Government and the opposition are usually annoyed at the ABC, which must mean it's doing something right.

First time we've had honey from our bees! Despite neither of us really knowing what we were doing, we managed to get about 3.4kg from our one hive.
