  1. When I was in Ireland I occasionally had a drink with a bloke named Will Power. There was some irony with that name, especially around alcohol.
  2. Love the cameo by Tenacious D in there.
  3. Operational??
  4. They do. Milking and butter-churning as well. Anything to do with the udder.
  5. This thread probably exists elsewhere but I couldn't find it. Just wanted to share a music video I saw today - I've listened to Rammstein for ages but never seen one of their videos til now. Production values are amazing. And if this doesn't get your foot tapping, put a smile on your face, a spring in your step, and an overwhelming desire to visit country towns in Bavaria... I don't know what will! (And if you like this one, watch "Deutschland" - very well done, if a little disturbing.)

  7. While it's probably not a career-enhancing move to publicly say what he did, I like this comment... "He only said what we were all thinking. Serious over reaction"
  8. Oompaloompas and tigers, yes. Trump... not so much.
  9. Ladies bike? Crossbar is a lot lower. (If you can still get that style.)
  10. If I've made someone chuckle, my work here is done.
  11. That's the problem. There'll be a conga-line of Trump wannabees in the Republican party to keep this festering disease going. Apparently this JD Vance must have once had half a brain because in 2016 he called Trump an "idiot" and "America's Hitler", but somewhere in the last 8 years he lost it. All we can hope is that Trump does something so monumentally stupid or disgusting that not even his rusted-on supporters could handle it.
  12. Bloody depressing isn't it.
  13. If it comes to a choice between a conspiracy and a cockup, it'll be the cockup every time. And the headstone of that sniper should read "If only he'd aimed for the chest".
  14. Sorry Space. "The smell of the 1972 Grange Hermitage filled the room". Is that clearer? Having said that my mate was pretty bad on the arse trumpet.
  15. There's a whole lot of begatting. Not to mention Lot's incestuous behaviour, and the Song of Solomon is basically Pornhub for BCE. But seriously OME, unless you're looking for contradiction, nonsense and downright insanity, reading it is unprophetable.
  16. We need a new financial model. Let's face it, if cars have the ability to be autonomous, why leave it parked in your garage all day? People who do own them could hook up to ride-sharing apps where their car is used in a local area as an on-demand Uber type thing. That way, anyone wanting to get from A to B can do so for a smaller cost than taxi or Uber (as there's no human driver involved). Plus that bonus of not having to make awkward conversation with the driver.
  17. 130km/h doesn't seem very fast for an anti-aircraft drone, when compared to the hypersonic speeds of air to air missiles. Looks like they need to put out an appeal for European aeromodellers to build and donate model jets.
  18. Well, they wanted more "tread"...
  19. I have a 1972, born the same year as me. No idea if it's ambrosia or vinegar. Mate bought 3 at auction about 25 years ago, we cracked one and drank it from coffee cups. It was magnificent, the smell of it filled the room.
  20. A quarter of all numbers are divisible by 4. Correlation <> causation.
  21. 5 years? I have trouble cellaring a red for more than 2 weeks.
  22. Not unless he gets one hell of an ear infection, unfortunately.
  23. Worst possible outcome. An innocent person gets killed and the orange clown is already claiming that god saved him from the bullet. Nothing good is going to come from this.
  24. Symptom of a healthy society. Bet there aren't many tattoos in North Korea or China. End of the day, if it doesn't hurt anyone else, everyone should be allowed to have their lifestyle choices.
  25. Why shouldn't they move around? That's the market. When unemployment is high and competition is high for jobs, employers reap the benefits of getting the best people for lower cost. In periods of low unemployment, a little power goes back to the employee. I don't see that as a negative.
