Option 2: a near death experience lets some people who believe in a god which is different and better than all the other gods that other people believe in (in fact all the others don't exist), see an afterlife which is limited to humans who believe in that god despite humans being biologically almost identical to a rat. Now please check your belief system at the door, put on that logical problem solving pilot hat which I hope we all have, and choose.
