Unless you've been under a rock you'll have heard of the (latest) disgusting act by a putative (Putinised?) US president, who in front of TV cameras with his arse-licking VP, berated another head of state (a real one) for note showing enough gratitude to the US. Obvious this is not the first, or even 1000th, indication that despite legally being voted into office, this... person... is not a fit and proper leader of any group of people, much less the president of the USA. Which raises the question. Should a head of state be qualified - at anything? Should there be a character test? A psychological evaluation? Any sort of thorough investigation into their past that would indicate their fitness for office? At the moment, in non-royal democratic countries anyway, all that is required is a lot of money and the nomination of a political party. This nomination doesn't have to be based on the person's character, ethics or morality - in fact it's most likely to be the person who can direct the most votes to themselves through the application of power - favours, horse trading, intimidation. At best it's "this person is our team's best chance of winning the election" which is a very different matter from being good for the country. At least countries with royal families tend to raise / train their children to act like a leader (in Charlie's case, the world's longest apprenticeship). That's not to say there haven't been some right royal twats, inbred to buggery, who shouldn't have been in charge of a tea party - but at least it's something. Arguing the opposing side, in that Oval Office debacle there was another President, a man deserving of the title as he's led his invaded country extremely well in a war of resistance for three years. His only qualification? That he once acted as a president in a TV comedy. So sitting together you had two ex-TV actors, one doing an extremely good job, the other one a convicted criminal and general waste of oxygen whose best contribution to humanity would be to realise what a twat he is, fire everyone he ever chose for his administration and apologise profusely to the world before topping himself. If qualifications were required, MAYBE Zelenskyy would have them, I don't know enough about him - but Trump would definitely not. What do you think?

Marjorie Taylor Greene's partner has proved his lack of judgement by who he's partnered with. Seems to escape these idiots notice that Zelenskyy is a REAL president unlike that clown they chose, and he's wearing the clothes he does in solidarity with the men and women fighting for his country. They don't want some suit wearing blowhard.

Jeez, long winded for not much of a punchline.

All they need to say is "we're sorry we couldn't be bothered getting off our arses and voting for Kamala."

What worries me, OME, is that if she's as intelligent as you say she is, then she knows how destructive and wrong pretty much everything this administration does is, and yet she still defends it - vigorously. What sort of character does that show?

Do you believe in common decency and the right to NOT be invaded GON? The war is supposed to end with Russia withdrawing to it's OWN territory and paying reparations to Ukraine for the loss of lives and property. Any other way, and Putin will just do it again. To put it simply. Putin is that horrible bully who beats up other kids and steals their lunch money. Ukraine has stood up to him and punched him in the nose. The bully is surprised but still trying to use his bigger size to beat up Ukraine and not only steal its lunch money but also its bike. The other neighbourhood kids are standing round watching. Some, like Orban and now Trump, see personal gain in the bully winning. Other, more decent and intelligent kids, know that if the bully wins here then he's going to steal their lunch money eventually. The ONLY way they are all safe is to stand together against that bully, but Trump for base personal gain (and spite for Zelenskyy not doing him a grubby personal favour last time) has walked away from the other kids and is trying to help the bully win. Let me know if this is too complicated.

Sorry to hear about that happening to you, it's disgusting and I believe all proven paedos should be chemically castrated. Paedophilia is different to homosexuality though. Whether a paedo is attracted to boys or girls, the issue is that they're attracted to children. Gay people are the same as straight people, attracted to adults. You said yourself - "descended from those original fags" - if they were gay, why did they breed? Sounds like there was abuse going on within the family too which normalized paedo behavior.
-
Ah, so you're a homophobe to add to your other values?

Would Trump then go to the aid of his puppet master? I hope Ukraine rip up any agreement about minerals and drops the US as a trading partner. The English language is too limited. There isn't a word bad enough for the person currently pretending to be the US president.

It's Europe's time to step up. We seriously have to reconsider both AUKUS (Awkers) and the 5 eyes partnership. What point is intelligence sharing with the US when we have a dictator-lovin' Putin puppet in charge? Plus his cabinet is comprised of arse licking sycophants. Definitely not trustworthy people. I think the global West has to face the sad fact that the USA is no longer a trustworthy partner.

Every country is scrambling to wok out how to deal with the buffoon, apart from Putin who already knows very well how to deal with him. I just think of similar figures to Trump... Hitler, Hussein, Ceaușescu, Gaddafi... further back in history - Caligula, Nero, even Julius in some regards (in that he turned democracy into a dictatorship). All of them met a sticky end.

Why did the dog have to die? -
Keep an eye on those great-grandchildren Spacey, or you might find yourself a great-great-grandfather.

I'd prefer a Strumpets party.

Yep... isn't America wonderful, billionaires in charge wanting to pay less tax, while veterans are on the street and can't afford health care. You'd truly be a Grumpy old Nasho over there, because you'd actually have something to complain about. And you want to bring that shit here. No. Fucking. Way.

It picked the bike I would have picked - the R1250GS. -
Maybe John Feal and everyone else who voted for him should have thought of that... BEFORE they voted.

Yes I suspect Wolfie was partially responsible for that post. -
Jerry... Why is your robonurse holding a magnifying glass...?

Yes, Albo is between a rock and a hard place on this. With an election coming up and 99% of Australia thinking Trump is a true cock-walloper, internally it would probably do him good to be a bit more vocal - but of course he can't risk the adverse effects to the country should the giant orange baby spit the dummy.
