1. Apparently, most taxi drivers only listen to the first word said to them by a client. Which could explain the overly large number of Chinese people, . . . . in Harrow.
2. That reminds me. . . . . . I heard this tonight.. Does anyone know a good reliable vet? I’ve accidentally swallowed the cats tablets... don’t ask meow
3. A Happy New Year to you and all of your Clan.
4. Novel new Headgear for Bikies ?
5. Just found out why Dad's computer is a bit slow. . .
6. Had to giggle at Keith's comments about Elsa's ubiquitous home made Hamburgers ! I delivered some aircraft parts to Jerilderie, one of the Groupair hire machines was stranded there. After landing in Keith's C-210 and was booking in at the office, the chap there said 'Casey Airfield ? ? ? " Have you had one of Elsa's Bonzer Burgers mate?" Elsa's fame was spread quite wide . . .!
7. Now We've all heard the term Pi$$ed as a Newt. . . But Pi$$ed as a Barbel ???

10. Just listened to that Onetrack Sir. .. FASCINATING man with a heck of a story. Thanks again. Phil.
11. The poor Tiger wasn't dinted at all, as I'd cut the switches before the mains sunk into the ditch and it nosed down with the prop level . . But even though I paid the engineer a bung for a full airframe check, for some ungodly reason, Keith refused to allow me to fly his precious Leopard Moth after that.. . How cruel can a man be ? ? ? ? Thanks for the Link 1T. Cheers !
12. Hopefully mate, I've already had my share of notoriety in stuffing Col.Keith Hatfield's Tiger into a ditch at Casey airfield. Pilot 'Friends' (especially those of an Australian bent ) can be terribly cruel. . . was even presented with a printed Tee shirt of the event. . . Bar$terds. . . . Kept a low profile since then.
13. Bloody Fiesta flat tyre saga. . . .deflated overnight on our driveway. Out in the sodding rain early today to change the flat for the spare. . Got it jacked up, wheel off. . guess what ? The effing spare wheel is a different Four stud pattern and wouldn't fit the hub. . . ! Had to take the wheel to have the nearly new tyre repaired. Three inch nail embedded in the face of the tread. Luckily the tyre shop was open, but about to close early for Christmas. Fifteen quid later I'm mobile again, but with No spare wheel for a few days until I can sort a replacement. Meanwhile, another flat = MAJOR KlusterFeck. BUGGER !
14. And. . .an 'In Joke' to all the electric guitar players out there. . .
15. This winter habit of 'Naming' council service vehicles is getting silly. . . This one voted the best by the majority climate change denier Jock Folk of Lanarkshire. . .

19. hen I lived in West Bromwich in 1967, there was a 23 storey block of flats which towered over most of the town. The engineering college up the road was 16 storeys, but High, as the classrooms had much higher ceilings than the average residential block. . . went there a few weeks ago and the entire place had been changed into a mini Chicago . . never spent much time down the smoke ( London) as it was far too hard to park me motorbike. . . but I did meet and have a brief chat about bikes with Clint Eastwood, who was here filming 'Where Eagles Dare' at Pinewood. . . he was sitting on his Triumph Bonneville having a smoke in Trafalgar square. . . Tru Dat. I think I even posted a picture of him on RF some years ago, whilst discussing Motey Bikes

Whilst living in Melbourne since 1970.. ., Wifey and I often holidayed in QLD. . . I recall seeing a bloke in Brisbane wearing a tee shirt which had a curious message on the front AND theback said "Flo has one. . . . Joh IS one" Can't imagine what that meant. . . .

24. General Tax increases but Mainly drastic increases in fuel prices which affect everyone. Mr. Macron refuses to back down on this. I've been watching social media throughout and can only assume that there is a 'D' notice or some such instrument preventing UK press coverage. Nothing seen in the newspapers either. Amazing level of censorship. . never seen ( or not seen ) anything like it. And yet every bit of the Hong Kong trouble has been extensively covered. Very odd.
25. These protests and the violent response of French CRS and paramilitary police in cities all over the country have been ongoing continuously for nearly a year. The entire UK media have orchestrated a total ban on ANY reporting of this.
