Racing ones with Worm drive used Castor oil which didn't last long before It oxidised and went to Rubber. The copper in the bronze catalysed the Castor oil so not much good in a road car.. I thought they were a Good Company and I managed to Get parts Much cheaper than Repco so rebuilt a few Write Offs that ended up Fine. You need contacts in the trade to repair stuff Properly.
