Sorry Pete, But I get sick of people (who don't ride them) Piling on Harleys. A have had more Yamaha's than modern Harleys and my daughter (Smallish) has a 535 yam. Virago which I service very thoroughly. It has a weird fuel system requiring fuel pumps to work and too much trail on the forks and needs another gear and gets pretty warm. Chrome is ordinary.. I wouldn't see the Harley as a good police bike. Maybe OK for Parades. What are Police bikes good for these days??. Ride what you enjoy, not what your mates would be impressed by and something you can afford and get parts for. IF you don't fix it yourself, you are at the Mercy of whoever does do it. The wiring harness gives trouble on a lot of Bikes after a few years especially around the steering column. Insulation breaks and the wires harden.. Most bikes have the seat much too high for short People..Get the Miles up and get rid of them rather than work on them. .I still have the ONLY Harley that I bought new. Nev

That's BS Pete. That model Yamaha is worth zero these days. I test rode one when they were new. Promising., BUT they had a lot of bad faults I test rode a lot of bikes back then. On the Nullabour you'll see plenty of larger Harleys. They are Far more comfortable than GP copy bikes where you body weight is on your wrists and you Heels are up near you bum and an hour on them is enough. The HD seats are big and LOW and you can have a real windscreen and soft suspension and rubber mounted LARGE Motors that don't need to rev AND Great Paint and Chrome.. Nev

You get 770 bottles with a Ton of grapes which works out at about 40 cents a bottle for todays grape prices. Not even close to sustainable for growers unless they UP their Tonnage /acre to crazy figures and then where does QUALITY go? Nev
