Some years ago I watched a report of a bunch of Protesters outside the Australian Embassy in America damning Australians for "The slaughtering of kangaroos to extinction". Now of course most of us here in Oz know that is ridiculous and laughable (among other examples) - it's the same when I read stuff about China, I laugh sometimes but often feel sorry for the ignorance and bigotry that is thrust onto us by various Governments. Like the Kangaroo Protesters, you know nothing about China and you know nothing about the One Child Policy. This is a wonderful loving society and it's not acceptable at any level here to "butcher babies" or to harm children who are revered here in anyway. BTW, the official birth rate here is around 1.7:1 which is higher than Oz, England and many Euro countries. I honestly worry for you GG that your Pastor(?) is using examples such as this to damn Atheisism, if so I honestly urge you to find a more loving, and factual, spiritual Mentor.

And BTW, this is the sort of stuff that gets blocked that the Freedom of Speech type idiots mouth off about China. There's plenty of stuff out there people don't need to and shouldn't see. Now back to CNN News and see if Putin scores with China's First Lady ... (not kidding).

Wrong, period. Totalitarian Authority and Atheism has no bearing on how a country will be run. Ironically the "Totalitarian Atheist" authority I live under currently blocks the stuff of anti-Christian morality such as Porn, how to commit suicide, how to make bombs etc. - the very stuff your ilk protests the (cough, cough) "Free" Governments to do. I can just imagine the coffee being spat onto your keyboard when you read that Chinese society as a whole is by far closer to a truer Christian society than Australia or America. Most of us grow up with Totalitarian Authority, and some of us with Atheism, they are called Parents, some are good, some are bad and country's leaders are no different. GG, please open your eyes, you are proffering radical, unhealthy and ironically, Totalitarian teachings - not everything non-religious is evil and not everything religious is good.

Hating anything would require a belief in that thing in the first instance, but nice try. You seem to miss all the good bits of having a whore as a messiah, after this revalation, expect church to be held at premises such as 'Touch of Class' and 'Gentleman's Spa and Massage'. Will bring a whole new meaning to 'Mass'

Oh, oh, looks like all those old bibles will have to be thrown in the rubbish and make way for the truth ... http://www.bignewsnetwork.com/index.php/sid/227481693 A 1, 500 year old manuscript has claimed that Jesus Christ married the prostitute Mary Magdalene and had children. The so-called "Lost Gospel", which was unearthed at the British Library, has been translated from Aramaic and has revealed that Jesus had two children and the original Virgin Mary was Jesus's wife and not his mother, the Independent reported. Professor Barrie Wilson and writer Simcha Jacobovic, who spent months translating the text, said that many experts have downplayed the biblical figure's historical importance but and she is of much greater significance than previously thought. Further revelations from the book, including the names of Jesus's children, will be released on Wednesday. Mary Magdalene already features in the existing gospels and is present at many of the important moments recorded in Jesus's life and earlier Nikos Kazantzakis in his 1953 book "The Last Temptation of Christ" and Dan Brown in "The Da Vinci Code" had made the same allegation.

Is that what heaven is really like? There were two lovers, who were really into spiritualism and reincarnation. They vowed that if either died, the other one remaining would try to contact the partner in the other world exactly 30 days after their death. Unfortunately, a few weeks later, the young man died in a car accident. True to her word, his sweetheart tried to contact him in the spirit world exactly 30 days later. At the seance, she called out, "Bruce, Bruce, this is Shazza. Do you hear me?" A ghostly voice answered her, "Yeah Shazza, this is Bruce. I can hear ya." Shazza tearfully asked, "Bruce, what is it like where you are?" "It's awesome. There are blue skies, a soft breeze, sunshine most of the time." "What do you do all day?" asked Shazza. "Well, Shazza, we get up before sunrise, eat some good breakfast, and there's nothing but shagging until noon. After lunch, we nap until two and then shag again until about five. After dinner, we go at it again until we fall asleep about 11 p.m." Shazza was somewhat shocked. "Is that what heaven really is like?" "Heaven? I'm not in heaven, Shazza, I'm a rabbit in outback NSW."

One day, a Catholic, a Protestant and a Jehovah's Witness wound up together at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter informed them that in order to get into Heaven, they would each have to answer one question. St. Peter addressed the Catholic and asked, "What was the name of the ship that crashed into an iceberg that they just made a movie? The Catholic answered quickly, "That would be the Titanic." St. Peter let him through the gate. St. Peter turned to the Protestant and decided to make the question a little harder, "How many people died on the ship?" Fortunately for him, the Protestant had just seen the movie recently and answered, "About 1,500." "That's right! You may enter." said St. Peter who then turned to the Jehovah's Witness, "Name them....."

One night a burglar is trying to break into a house. He's sneaking across the lawn when he hears a voice - "God is watching you!" He jumps, turns around, but he doesn't see anything. So he starts creeping across the lawn again. "God is watching you!" He hears it again. So now the burglar is really looking around, and he sees a parrot in a cage by the side of the house. He says to the parrot, "Did you say that?" The parrot answers "Yes I did." So the burglar asks, "What's your name?" The parrot says "Clarence." The burglar says "What kind of idiot would name his parrot Clarence?" The parrot says, "The same idiot that named his Rottweiler 'God' "

I don't care, all I know is I would rather fantasise about her than Gough Whitlam. -
All this "probing" and "hot pokers in the rear" talk and Julie Bishop, I'm getting excited! UFO's, Devil, Bigfoot and other beasts, all these sightings get scorned for no proof so there's certainly no reason why a sighting of a God or miracle is any different.

If I was asleep in my tree and you came out and starting pissing on my tree I would make a few sounds you might not have heard before too! Are you sure you got the punctuation correct in that sentence? Sorry, did you say something Phil?

Comes as no surprise to me that a bunch of blokes who left school at 15 yet demand 6 figure salaries per year can't spell the name of their own movement -

Not in the slightest, Pollies are far from my favorite people, the grins had just come off me complaining there was no 'Vanilla Slices' (the Chef was Australian!), otherwise I was there purely for my own interests. Maybe because she was totally out of her environment and possibly a bit of a holiday for her here, I assure you she was 'quite normal'. -

I said to her "Autograph?" and she said "ok", so I gave her one of my standard signed pictures I carry. She's not a bad looking lady for 58 years of age. My Missus, Me, Bishop, our Chef and the Hotel Manager (Kiwi). By the way, I am neither Lib or Labour sided. -

What a 3rd rate post. I have been in business for myself before I even left school with my first wholly owned small business at 21 years old. In my time every successive Government be it Liberal or Labour has destroyed "promising industries" and seen technical innovation go overseas, but if I had to side with one of them then it would begrudgingly be the Libs. Whitlam made this country to easy to be lazy and apathetic, and now we are suffering his decisions - but the cowards who have been in office since him are just as bad, they have had their chance to correct it but they are too afraid of losing the Social Security, Public Service and far Left vote and that is Whitlam's legacy.
