  1. There is currently a global boycott of Tesla vehicles, US voters are calling the Senate and House switchboards hammering lawmakers with 2,000 calls a minute, Trump's polling numbers are dramatically falling.
  2. One of Australia's first commercial wind farms has been earmarked for decommissioning after its owners ruled out replacing aging turbines due to cost. The Codrington Wind Farm opened near Port Fairy in south-west Victoria in July 2001, marking a new frontier in renewable energy in Australia. The site was deemed "close to perfect" due to its strong prevailing winds off the Southern Ocean when Premier Steve Bracks opened what was at the time Australia's largest wind farm.
  3. While Elon Musk seizes control of federal agencies and illegally cuts funding to essential services like food aid and cancer research, Trump quietly rewards him with nearly half a BILLION in taxpayer money for armored Cyber Trucks. This isn't a government; it's a heist.
  4. When we did away with 1c and 2c coins, the odd cents remained on the price of most things. On a grocery lists, they evened themselves out to within five cents. When you got to the total, the amount was rounded up or down. A total of $xx.47 became $xx.45, and $xx.48 becane $xx.50. Over a trolley of groceries, the win or loss was no more than 3c, and over a period of time the wins and losses cancelled each other out. I haven't paid cash at a register for more than 20 years. Ahhh, fantastic plastic. I don't have a bank ap to pay by waving the phone.
  5. Are you playing silly buggers or are you really that thick?
  6. Well that was a surprise. I had an appointment with my cardiologist this morning (or rather this afternoon after spending 3/4 of an hour in the waiting room). I thought it wa a regular reading of data stored in the pacemaker, but after the reading he said "You'll have to have a procedure. One of the wires is loose. Get a blood test and we will let you know when the booking has been made in the hospital, probably Friday."
  7. They would have equal importance if they mustered an equal number of votes. But they don't which is why they are called "Minor Parties."
  8. Like I said, see a doctor and get a grip on reality. Other parties come and go at the will of the people. If they had sufficient support to draw level with, or surpass the other two, they would be mentioned too.
  9. You can make your preferences to any party, putting the two you don't trust as 11 and 12 if you like, But it comes down to who are the last two standing, and by popular or unpopukar vote, that just happens to be ALP and LNP. Think about it like a football season. Every team gets to play, but at the end of the season, the top eight play off in the finals. Each finals match, one team is eliminated, until the Grand Final, when the last two remaining teams play off. The beaten teams are eliminated don't get to play again. Abd GON, could you imagine the commentators calling the match sayimg "Team A is leading by 15 points". No, tthey call the teams by their name. That's not showing preference, and has no impact on the outcome.
  10. You've had it explained to you but you don't seem to be able to grasp it. They are simply reporting facts, not showing favoritism. It would be the same if the two major parties were the sporting shooters party and the sidecar racing party. How are they supposed to refer to them, Party A and Party B?
  11. 3AW personality Phillip Brady, who retired from his radio program on 2 February, passed away over night. He was aged 85.

I never realised how technologically advanced Moses was. He had the first tablet that connected to the cloud.
