No luck with the question above?
  2. We have a small portable wifi dongle which my daughter uses with her iPad. We've been receiving emails and texts fropm Optus on a regular basis for months asking us to check if it will work with the 4G network. We went to an Optus shop 3 months ago and they confirmed it will be OK, but we still get peppered with messages.
  3. Eric Clapton is correct Gareth.

  5. Further to my post of Wednesday, I got a doctors appointment and got the prescription I needed. I went to Chemist Warehouse to have it completed. I took this photo to illustrate what I was complaining about, the stack of boxes of stock in the aisles. Although they have a storeroom packed to the ceiling, they have these boxes in every aisle, every time you go there. You've got to work your way past them, and the staff packing products on the shelves and customers deciding on their purchase. It looks like there is no-one in this aisle, but there was a girl crouching down behind the boxes restocking goods on the lower shelves. For privacy, I picked a time when there were no customers in this particular aisle.
  6. Tesla’s Cybertruck, touted for its rugged design, faced a bizarre setback at a car wash. After the wash, the 6,600-pound truck shut down, rendering its console blank and transforming it into a giant metal brick. Despite its intended off-road prowess, the vehicle struggled with mundane tasks. Tesla advises against washing the truck in direct sunlight to prevent corrosion, and offers a special “Car Wash Mode.” “Failure to put Cybertruck in Car Wash Mode may result in damage,” the company’s manual reads. “Damage caused by car washes is not covered by the warranty.” .

    Quickies part 2

An oldie, but still a chuckle... A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband is not in bed. She puts on her robe and goes downstairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a hot cup of coffee in front of him. He appears to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of his coffee. ☕️ 'What's the matter, dear' she whispers as she steps into the room, 'Why are you down here at this time of night?" The husband looks up from his coffee, 'It's the 20th Anniversary of the day we met'. She can't believe he has remembered and starts to tear up. The husband continues, 'Do you remember 20 years ago when we started dating, I was 18 and you were only 16,' he says solemnly. Once again, the wife is touched to tears. 'Yes, I do' she replies. The husband pauses The words were not coming easily. 'Do you remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car' 'Yes, I remember' said the wife, lowering herself into the chair beside him. The husband continued. 'Do you remember when he shoved the shotgun in my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter or I will send you to prison for 20 years'. 'I remember that, too' she replied softly. He wiped another tear from his cheek and said "I would have gotten out today."
