It was near midnight when I posted that and I was lazy. Should have said 1% Club. In fact it was the 60% question. I also said at the beginning that most of the questions this episode were incredibly easy. Having said that, LEFT is the correct answer. Next:

Thanks for clarifying that. I'm not forced to read your posts, either.

Have it your own way.

Then it musst have been edited from the version you watched.

If you go to a football match, particularly a finals match, you are obliged to sit or stand throgh it. The same just about anywhere 20 or more people are gathered together. If you are are supporter of a sport with a members ticket and want to see you team play a final, you have no choice. If you watch it at home you have to have it stuffed down your throat.

Jerry, how would you feel if every time you went into the pub for dinner, you had to get on your knees and prey to Allah to appease the Muslims? This is how people feel about going to the football, cricket and just about everything else, and having to sit through the Welcome to Country.

I read once that Vegetarian was a native American term for Bad Hunter. Then in Woolies today, I saw this...

My son just bought himself a near-new car. It is a Mazda Black Edition CX-60 with s six cylinder inline deisel engine and a hybrid electic motor to restart the engine after it stops at traffic lights and jams.It ha switches and electronics for everything you can imagine. I think the only thing it doesn't do is wipe his posterior. It is automatic, but you can switch to manual, using paddles on the steering wheel like an F1 car. It was reportedly owned by a Mazda executive and only has 7,700 km on the clock. Selectable driving modes are- offroad, normal onroad, sport and towingf, as he had a towbar fitted. He also got front and rear cameras with parking lot detection if you get bumped, tinted windows, heated and cooled seats front and rear, automatic wipers, speed sign detection (adjusts speed to the signed speed limit and more. He said the quote for a new one similarly equipped was over $100,000.

Celebrating Positives (offset of the Gripes Thread)

It's amazing how things can turn around. I was searching for something in the forums and came across a post I made in March of 2023 in the thread The End written by Yenn. Yenn had discussed the return of his cancer and he only had a short time to live. I had said I knew how he felt as I was having annual checkups following my cancer, how I needed a stick for walking, hadn't driven for some time, etc, and how I felt my time could come at any time. 18 months later, I've had another oncology check-up all clear, have been driving 3 or 4 days a week for over 12 months, and haven't used the stick, which lies on the floor in the back of the car, for almost 18 months. Although I've had a couple of episodes and visits to hospital in the last year, generally I am feeling in good health. I try to walk about 2,000 steps per day, usually around the shopping mall pushing a shopping trolley even if there is nothing in it. I hope I'm not putting a mozz on myself. -

When I tore a couple of tendons in my shoulder and had rotator cuff syndrome, I couldn't lift my arm above the shoulder. I couldn't reach to the higher cupboards to get or put away a plate or a dish. I was prescribed morphine injections directed by ultrasound which eased the problem. The effects lasted nearly six months for each injection, and I only required three. My last one was before the pandemic.

Celebrating Positives (offset of the Gripes Thread)

I have a hedge between my place and the neighbour's which hadn't been trimmed at the top in a couple of years, and had reached up and surrounded the electrical supply line from the street to the property. I could trim the facia of the hedge, but the top was too high and I'm too old to be climbing ladders. I came home from shopping at about 5:30 last night and the neighbour had a tree service cutting some stuff in his yard. I asked the guy for a quote to cut the hedge and a couple of other plants, which he gave me. I asked about just doing the hedge and ha said "I've got my staff and equipment here, do you want it done now?" I thought why not, so gave him the go ahead. Within 3/4 of an hour, he had it done and all the waste disposed of in his mulcher. All done, no hiring a trailer, no broken neck, and the power line unfettered. -
You're right, my mistake. It's Peter Dinklage
