  1. Woolworths and co need to pull their heads in. Every time I walk in there things are up by $1, last week Nudie OJ was on special at $8.50, it’s normal price before. I only bought it when it was $6.50 on sale. i like real ok with bacon and eggs on the weekend as I don’t get a crook guts after if I have the OJ, I assume the acid in citrus combats the fattyness of the bacon. every other item is the same. They are real crooks with their here to help adds. Only their bottom line is getting help. They know we have to eat, other stuff is just ancillary.

  6. I suppose the one that had over 1000 dudes in one day is a librarian on that logic. only problem she has now is an overdue issue, supposedly pregnant, not even Maurie Povich could sort that out.
  7. He looked a lot younger in House, but then again I was watching that probably 20 years ago. same with stu little, but my little kids are now 27 and 25.
  8. The like is for the wolfie, not the naughty pair, their should be a " good spanking" emoji
  9. I found out my fitness has drastically dropped when in NZ early in the month. I went up mount Manganui with my uncle who is 18 years my senior. We picked the 850m path to climb 283m high. I need more time for exercise. The climb was worth it with spectacular views. Enjoy your trip.
  10. I don't know if the story is true, but the caption pretty much sums up some of life's choices.
  11. Heard on radio today that Roberta Flack passed away aged 88, been suffering health issues for a long time.
  12. After listening to yank’s conversation on a cruise for the last fortnight, I have learnt they still love the orange f@#kwit to death, have no idea what happens in Australia other than kangaroos, big knives and a bridge with a funny looking building near it. At a dinner table conversation one night someone asked what do you guys hear about Australian politics after a trump conversation was shut down. Answer was nothing. They heard about the big fires a few years ago, but other than that they get no news about us. saddest thing about this is their f#$kup elected causes us no end of pain, and they couldn’t give a flying f#$k.
  13. Isn’t it strange to think we have become so dependent on something we can live quite well without, as we did up until the late 1990’s. telstra created a monster that snuck up on us, made us NEED it, spending up to a couple of hundred dollars a month on. It started with text at .25 cent for a sentence or more, then long text, all these LOL and ROTFLMAO etc, then forums. i know it lets us all get to know each other on platforms like this when we might not have connected in the real world, which is a good thing. But do you ever wonder what you could do with all the money spent on phones, tablets and the internet could have done for you if it didn’t exist. it would probably buy a good little aeroplane, car or boat to enjoy outside. Tik tok, instagram and all these other platforms have created a glut of people who make money of what would basically be sh#t all in the real world, and a lot of it makes people feel more insecure about themselves or like they are missing out on something. I would like to see them have to work for a living like the rest of us “oldies” had to, starting at the bottom and working up the chain. Just an interesting thought that popped into my head after the reading the discussion prior. sorry for drift in advance.
  14. Turns out the picture I took was the new batch this arvo, I found the first one from 2 days ago in pantry, chockers full of bugs, but loosing its stink.
  15. Imagine how much harder this will be now, four years ago they had the Biden administration coming in, now the orange hater is in charge.
  16. That is a strange expression, I have had an invasion of gnats in our kitchen. A quick google search on how to get rid of them gave the answer as Apple cider vinegar in a little dish with some washing up liquid. we tried it, and what do you know it worked. In the first hour they were flocking to it, and drowning quickly. since then we have found the source, a bag of lemons and limes got pushed to back of pantry at Christmas time. And disposed of it. here is a picture of the results
