I don’t go to church with any regularity, funerals and such only. I have sent my 5 kids to a Christian school, due to the school having staff who care, teach the children to respect rules-uniforms, no phones, no fraternising of any kind, and especially like the way they don’t give awards for every little thing. They ask the students to do their best at every opportunity rather than saying you don’t conform to this set level. they have a good handle on what goes on in their school. The kids are given conflicting info in science from religious classes, but are allowed to make up their own minds, rather than being spoon fed their way is the only way. we have not been treated any different than the families who attend their church, which we appreciate.

Everyone loves bacon, until they see what it comes from?, some people don’t understand what raw food looks like. makes me feel lucky I grew up in the country where food was killed and cut up at home.

I've found great northern Zero to be quite OK as I too like the beer for taste rather than getting tanked. One cannot fly, when the weather is good the next morning if too much booze the night before, along with the driving early etc. I would much rather get up with the options open. I tell others to stuff off if they comment on it.

I Agree, it takes your attention when watching movies or a series. It’s not like we can press record on the VHS and “steal” it anymore is it. They repeat everything on 10 different named channels they own anyway so you can watch it at any time

The annoying sound you described in initial post, is like the annoying sound trail bikes make when ridden in small yards-full throttle, off throttle, repeat. It’s enough to make one feel murderous.

Had my first jab today, never even noticed needle and I hate them. I had a lumbar puncture as a kid to treat meningitis that nearly done me in. hopefully stays ok and no ill effects.

Hi Mark, I too am sorry to see you leaving, I try to ignore poor sportsmanship on the forums. It is hard, it I consider your input informative and entertaining when tounge in cheek. It would be great to have you stay. If you don’t I wish you well and will miss your input. I tolerated a lot of bullying at school, since it didn’t turn me into a mass school murderer I believe it made me stronger for adult life. I can ignore d!£kneads and still get on with life in a proactive way. I hope you can find a path like this and continue to engage with your online friends who will miss you. clinton

I froze in Hawaii on a trip to top of volcano, told to bring a light jacket. I had shorts on and a tee shirt. Get to 10000 feet peak to watch sunrise and it was 7c with wind chill taking it into the minuses. The Americans comment on how tough us Aussies must be to tolerate it. I was frozen when I got in the van for the ride down for breakfast at a tropical plantation. Had my hands jammed into armpits all the way back to get feeling in them. Well into mid 20’s when we got down.

Sad but true, I’ve asked about many that would have ended the same.

I have seen on Google (so it must be true) campers done like a Jayco wind up one with pull out bed ends made for shopping trolleys for the homeless. My only concern would be not a wide footprint for blowing over in a big wind, just like this one. Very creative though to get it made and usable. inside would be interesting to see how it all fits.

The year I left Carnarvon the Gascoyne flooded big from rain in the east and north. The water flowing back to the empty river after the flood washed away roads, pipes and everything else that had been dug up previously. I took pictures of power poles supported by wires, with a column of compacted dirt under them from being rammed in. at one stage they had a giant pump spitting water over the highway to get it back to the riverside of the mound. At one point it was over 100 km wide but shallow.

No skull dome, yet wears a mask🙄, on your own on a bike, not likely to catch COVID unless a bug has it and you swallow. only in America.

Narva have Premium bulbs that are meant to be better quality, Wurth dabble in bulbs, but I couldn’t convince customers to buy them at the high price. Now the caravans are LED, but even then there are good and really bad ones.
