Old Koreelah Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Thanks Nev; I'm still trying to connect the dots...
facthunter Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Wise people will have a lonely life. There's not many of them. Nev
Old Koreelah Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 Wise people might be a bit like cannibals. Nobody ever seems to have owned up to it; they are always the tribe over in the next valley.
onetrack Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 All of this simply reminds me of Fred Rose's maxim .... "Good Judgment depends mostly on experience, and experience usually comes from poor judgment."
facthunter Posted February 21, 2020 Posted February 21, 2020 Like "coming off" motorcycles teaches you how to ride..???? Often people who do this, keep falling off. Don't become good riders and eventually use their good judgement to give up, and do something else.. If you are smart, you learn from your mistakes . Not everyone does.. . It's even smarter to learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make them all yourself.. .Nev
