Time lapse showing re growth of burnt out houses and property would not show much action as far as I can work out. There seems to be a lot of people just crying out for help and meanwhile the money donated to charities doesn't seem to be getting to them.

All that money collected by RedCross and Sallys is only being used by themselves, to generate more money from the interest.

Not much income to be generated from interest-bearing deposits today, with interest rates at record lows, and Australia's official interest rate at 0.25%.

I wouldn,t mind half the interest from that $ 150 million, they have locked away !.
