Here's one from the radio this morning. 

Two pirates sit down to split loot of AROUND 300 coins. However there is 1 coin left over.

They call in a third pirate and decide to split it 3 ways. However there's still 1 coin left over.

So they call in a 4th, a 5th then a 6th. But there's still 1 coin left over.

Finally,  when they split it 7 ways, each of the 7 pirates gets an equal share.

How many coins were there in the original loot?

Could say ' what to spend that coin on , ' to satisfy a pirates " lust or thirst " . LoL

" Around 300 coins " , 300÷ 3= 100 coins , for each of three pirates .

BUT

If I multiply 7X42 it equates to 2107.  

 Must be ' Higher ' mathematics.

300 is divisible by 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.  So in each case there would be 1 coin left over.

However 301 is divisible by 7.

If you zoom in, the red arrow is pointing to the alien's Phantom ring. A dead give-away.
