Admin Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 Remember if you support Black Friday shopping in Australia this year, buy ONLY Australian made products or at least ONLY buy from Australian owned businesses...please share to everyone so we can kick start our own country 1 1
old man emu Posted October 12, 2020 Posted October 12, 2020 I bought a roll of packing tape this week. It proclaimed that the company was all Australian owned. But the tape was made in China. So it's not the Australian-owned companies you should deal with, but you should only buy things that are made from a very high percentage of Australian products.
ClintonB Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Bottle of Woolworths brekky juice, 0% Australian ingredients, I would of thought that we would have enough fruit here( majority apple juice) to make breakfast juice here. I try to read labels normally but missed this one.
old man emu Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 Fountain tomato sauce 9% Australian and we export tomatoes.
onetrack Posted October 22, 2020 Posted October 22, 2020 China is the worlds largest exporter of fruit juices - particularly apple juice concentrate - and they have been known to get into strife over the quality of their juices. They occasionally juice rotten fruit, when good fruit is scarce - then deal with the rotten fruit flavour, by adding chemicals to the juice to hide the "off" taste. https://www.chinauncensored.com/index.php/real-china/643-rotten-fruit-processed-into-juice-and-exported-to-the-west https://oec.world/en/profile/bilateral-product/fruit-juice/reporter/chn 1
