I was reading a post on a FB group by a bloke who souvenired some parts of one of these MiG-29's before it was scrapped. It was the crash at Fairford Airshow in 1993 and the bits he salvaged were from the one that was cut in half and caught fire. Thank god for bang seats (or more accurately, thank Zvezda). There's no better seat that the K-36D and it's derivatives.
