Becoming a province of NZ

I would like to convince my local council ( West Wimmera ) to secede from Australia and declare itself to be a province of New Zealand. This would be to have a smarter government.

Tassie has a better chance of seceding. We're already an island, so we have geographical separation. All we need now is to cut ties to the Australian Federal grubamint
