onetrack Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 One half of my brain can't be working properly? - but I've been told that, on occasions. 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Don't worry OT, my brain also defaults to upside down stairs.. and I have been accused of not even having a brain! 🙂 1
facthunter Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 IF it's not a MRI operator I'd ignore it. IF they find "normal brain Atrophy" you don't get any Trophy, either. Nev 2
facthunter Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 A few little trickies in there.. If you're colour blind it might be a bigger problem. Nev
Marty_d Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 I'm not colourblind, but I couldn't make out anything in that. 1 1

onetrack Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Marty, you haven't consumed enough drugs yet. 3

nomadpete Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 No elephants in my room! On my little screen, the peripheral lines bent a lot. But my wife just saw straight ones. 2 1
Bruce Tuncks Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 You guys are smarter than me tho.... i can still only see the lower halves of naked women in the first pic. Yes, I did try to see something else. 1 1 2
Bruce Tuncks Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Hey, the pro hart comment helped.... now I can see some real skinny guys with their arms held up high. 1
facthunter Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 (edited) The background is what distorts the Grid you see first. (If you look at it correctly.. Your MIND is responsible for trying to make it make sense. It often "fills in" things for you whether you want it to or not. (Bit like spell check). I'm NOT saying I have seen ALL but the grid is normal. There's a thing called astigmatism some people have which bends straight lines. Try a test for that. (Google it Mate). facthunter Posted October 16, 2022 Posted October 16, 2022 Maybe you have a special clairvoyance. There's a fine line between genius and insanity. (according to some) Nev 1
octave Posted October 16, 2022 Author Posted October 16, 2022 Here is an interesting site (well to me at least) that allows you to dial in different parameters to the curved grid illusion. The most interesting one is that the grey cobble stone squares only work in one orientation, rotate just a little them and the illusion immediately disappears. Peripheral Curved Line Illusion 1 1
