Yenn Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 I see that the Australian entry to the Eurovision Song Contest was knocked out in the very early stages of the contest' I heard the entry played on radio here before the contest and thought it was just about par for the music I hear on the ABC. I wonder did anyone really think it was in with a chance and if so is the rest of the world that bad? 1
Bruce Tuncks Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 I think us oldies got all the good songs yenn. The last eurovision song I liked was Abba's "waterloo". Nowadays, there is nothing as good as the Everley Brothers stuff was when I was a kid. 1
Marty_d Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Nah, there's been some rippers even recently. Check out the 2006 winner Lordi (Finland) with their song "Hard Rock Hallelujah". And anything from Moldova. They usually have a funny entry.
