Australian comedian John Cornell has died after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was 80 years old. Cornell was involved closely with actor Paul Hogan, as well as Kerry Packer during the establishment of World Series Cricket.

He was real driving force and creator of Dundee and Hogans success, if it hadn't been for John Cornell, there would never have been a Paul hogan show and it was excellent.
