Between those wars the government set it sights on having  more armed troops at their bec&call, 

I missed a bit out of my last post which shoulg have said " children under twelve months of age !,couldn,t be insured ".

The German armed force is Now able to walk in ( to England ) & set up their armed base. Without declaring war !.

Actually, no they can't.  They can be invited in to set up a base, but even when the UK was part of the EU they couldn't just walk in.
