Nev, are you telling us you worked in the days when people were paid in guineas?

No but I paid some of the bills which were. A lot of sales brochures were in them. You just add a bob onto each quid. Like GST.  The elder sibling gets these jobs. There's no justice. . Nev

The auctioneer used to get bids in guineas and payment to the vendor was in pounds. The shilling per giunea was his  commission.
