onetrack Posted March 22 Posted March 22 It looks like the Islamic hard-liners are out to exact some retribution on the Russians - so what better time to launch a terror attack, than when Putler is warring with Ukraine? https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2024/03/23/islamic-state-group-claims-russia-gun-attack-a84583

Everone in Kremlin knows it must have been the CIA and Ukraine. (Sarky alert) 2
facthunter Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Who's behind the 60 or so deaths at the entertainment centre in Moscow? It's NOT Ukraine. Chetnya? Putin has plenty of enemies. Nev 1
willedoo Posted March 23 Posted March 23 My guess is that it probably is ISIS-K, the group that has claimed it. The US and UK intelligence has been warning of it for a couple of weeks but putin has been publicly rejecting and mocking the warnings as 'Western blackmail'. There would be no shortage of home grown ISIS cells in Russia. Unconfirmed reports mentioned the terrorists speaking Russian. They have plenty of scope for it with about 15% of Russians being Muslim. Moscow has the largest Muslim population of any city in Europe. The US intelligence warnings to the Kremlin even specified concert venues. The trick for putler now is to spin it so he doesn't appear to have egg on his face. That shouldn't be too hard as he's a cult just like Trump in the US. All he has to do is point the finger at Ukraine or the US or both and the sheep will believe him. 1 1
willedoo Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Is this more American appeasement? It's been reported that the US is urging Ukraine to cease attacks on Russian oil refineries in fear of global oil prices rising. https://www.businessinsider.com/ukraine-wont-stop-targeting-russias-oil-refineries-will-defy-us-2024-3 1 2
willedoo Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Meanwhile on Thursday night, Russia attacked the Dnipro hydroelectric grid with 60 Shahed drones and almost 90 missiles and not a peep from the US. 1 1 1
willedoo Posted March 23 Posted March 23 The Russian national guard special forces arrived at the scene an hour after the shooting started. One thing noticeable about the phone camera footage of the shooters is that they didn't look Middle Eastern or like Afghans or other people from those border countries. They looked like Russians and carried themselves like ex (or current) military. No suicide vests or desire to die fighting apparent. It looked very professional like they wanted to get in, do the job and get out cleanly. It leaves open the possibility of an inside job or false flag despite ISIS claiming the attack. It looked like a cool headed commando operation rather than the usual Islamist style of attack. 1 1

facthunter Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Like the "Promised" 3 days of throwing roses to welcome you that becomes a nuclear war threat to blow UK off the face of the Planet rather than lose face years later. . Don't EVER refer to it as a WAR, though. Nev 1

nomadpete Posted March 23 Posted March 23 My money is on a false flag op. Pootin needs to justify the next major conscription. So he needs to sow fear among the plebs. But I am surprised he didn't blame Ukraine. 1

They just give him a microphone and another vodka bottle and let him loose on the media. He fulfills the vital role of saying the things putler would like to say publicly. If any shite hits the fan over Medvedev's crazy rants, putin can distance himself from it.
willedoo Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Another two Russian refineries have been hit by drones. This time in the Samara region, so a quite a way east. 2

red750 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Reports that all the ISIS gunmen have been captured. Pootin claiming Ukraine provided the gateway for them to enter Russia. Denied by Zelenskyy. 1
facthunter Posted March 24 Posted March 24 How effective is Poo tins Intelligence? The USA warned him of an impending action. His credibility ZERO. Nev

Nev Credibility is zero to the outside world. Unfortunately he controls the narrative within Russia. Didn't take long for him to start blaming Ukraine for this attack (we all expected it) - so watch him now, he'll just ramp it up as more of a reason to keep making war with Ukraine. With all dissenting voices silenced the Russian people are only hearing his spin. 1

facthunter Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Yes the "Window of Opportunity" is fleeting for prospective new Leaders of whatever it's called these days.."The Union of Socialist Relics" . the Workers paradise. Centre of Attention of US Paranoia. but really the East European Mafia. Nev 1 1
onetrack Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) So ... Putin's forces rounded up some anti-Russian protesters, a few petty crims, and nailed them all as the full complement of the terror attack group! - all within about 24 hrs from the attack!! What a brilliant and capable mob!! Let's see - they'll all be charged and found guilty within another 24 hrs (with hundreds of valuable witnesses providing all the necessary evidence), and they'll all be in a Siberian Gulag within another 24 hrs!! What great place to get problems solved!! No wonder Donald said Putin was a "very clever man!!" Edited March 24 by onetrack
Marty_d Posted March 24 Posted March 24 The Donald loves dicktators. (And normal taters, as long as they're deep fried from Macca's). 2

Those skinny little Tajiks they rounded up don't look anything like the shooters in the concert hall. 1 1
willedoo Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Some news has surfaced that the Ukrainians destroyed the large landing ships Yamal and Azov last night in Crimea, using Storm Shadow missiles. If confirmed, that would make four out of the six Black Sea Fleet landing ships gone. They also blew up the FSB building in Sevastopol with a triple tap missile strike. 2 1
willedoo Posted March 24 Posted March 24 Also claiming three Su-27 aircraft destroyed on the ground at Belbek air base in Crimea. 2
