Sanctions against Russia

There's been a bit of a collaborated effort to out a bunch of Russian war criminals. They've identified the military personnel in Moscow and St. Petersburg who have been selecting and coordinating the precision missile strikes on schools, hospitals and residential areas in Ukraine. They also claim to have evidence that the targets were purposely targeted, which is believable when you take into account the accuracy of those weapons.

The Russian military personnel involved are a mix of male and female. Their personal details have been hacked and published online. I saw some of it last night and the information made public includes their home addresses, phone numbers, social media account passwords and photos of themselves with their families and children. It's a lot of information for any war crimes tribunal if they survive the war without Russian partisans getting to them.

That's why I want to see a Ukrainian granny challenge Putin to a duel with AK 47's in a paddock. Of course he would not deign to respond, but I reckon his soldiers would wonder why not.

Bruce, I think I found your granny. She doesn't need the AK.

That's interesting. We hear of rail sabotage from time to time, sonow it looks like it is an organised group. There was a mob in Belarus who were claiming responsibility for sabotaging Russian rail lines in Belarus very early in the war. It was said to have a bearing on the Russian failure at Kiev, with food and fuel supplies disrupted.

Just as an edit to the above post, that's the Metropolitan of Belgorod. The same bloke blessed the Kursk submarine all those years ago. That didn't go too well for him.

Someone should warn the recruits.  Could be cause and effect...

There is news that Putin's god daughter has fled to Lithuania just i the nick of time before there was a raid on her home. Apparently, she purchased tickets to Turkey which sent the security forces to the woong airport or gate to apprehend her before her escape. Her crime - indirect criticism of the war in Ukraine. Surely Russian people can see the red flags within their own country now?

There's also other opinion that it's another staged Kremlin tricky trick and that she's an agent for Putin. I guess time will tell, but they are in the business of making black look white, so it wouldn't surprise me if she was up to something.

Putin's crusade against Nazis has expanded. Now they're going after Satan as well. Aleksey Pavlov, assistant secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, has said that Ukraine should be desatanised.

Pavlov's quote: "Using internet-based manipulations and psychotechnology, the new government has turned Ukraine from a state into a totalitarian hypersect. Moreover, the authorities in Kyiv were the first to turn into militant fanatics whose views are directly opposite to those of normal people. I believe that with the continuation of the special military operation, it is becoming increasingly urgent to carry out the desatanisation of Ukraine, or, as Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen Republic aptly put it, its ‘complete de-shaitanisation’."

I see that Russian warships moored at Sevastopol have been attacked by drones or have they.

The Russians have said a minesweeper had minor damage and that they repelled 16 attacking drones. Ukraine said they had nothing to do with it & 4 ships which included a frigate, a landing ship and a cruise missile ship used in a deadly July attack on a western Ukrainian city were all damaged due to careless handling of explosives.

I reckon there is probably some truth in both reports. Maybe a few drones got hit but a reasonable number got through and the lack of competence by Russia resulted in them blowing themselves up.

It might take a few days for some facts to filter through. Russia has pulled out of the grain export agreement, claiming the ships were attacked by Ukraine with the help of British specialists. The Russians are also now claiming that the British Navy blew up the Nord Stream pipelines in September.

It will be interesting to see if any of the vessels were sunk. The frigate has been reported as the Admiral Makarov, which would have been the Black Sea Fleet flagship after the sinking of the Moskva. There's unverified camera footage from one of the sea based torpedo drones showing it approaching the Admiral Makarov and hitting it amidships.

In response to the Sevastopol drone attacks, Putler has ordered Russian Telegram to be blocked. Local authorities in Sevastopol have also shut down all civilian CCTV cameras and asked people not to post footage online, citing the risk of Ukraine geolocating the Russian air defences.
