facthunter Posted February 17, 2023 Posted February 17, 2023 Those who live by the Sword will die by it. Destroying infrastructure and lives doesn't seem to bother Putin . His personal wealth is anybody's guess. Those who dare question him, or pose any threat suddenly have an accident. Deals done are not worth the invisible Ink they are written in. Nev 2

willedoo Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 According to Nato intelligence, Russia is losing as many as 2,000 men for every 100 yards gained in human wave assaults in eastern Ukraine. 1 1
facthunter Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 IS Intelligence and Human any part of this? Nev 2

And do you think Putin cares? He has got 140 million to choose from & none of them matter to him. He'll celebrate with a few vodkas & white wine for the 100 yards & not give the slightest thought to the 2000 dead soldiers or their grieving families. 2
onetrack Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 (edited) It suits Putins plans admirably to get rid of thousands of Tatars, Chechens and many other "non-Slavic" peoples, by using them as cannon fodder. These peasant groups have always been regarded as expendable in the ruling Slavic peoples outlook. The Slavic Russians have never forgotten nor forgiven the Mongols for their rape and pillage and enslavement of the Slavic peoples under the "Tatar yoke". Edited February 18, 2023 by onetrack 1 1
willedoo Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 Getting rid of a few crims as well. U.S. estimates put Wagner's KIA numbers so far at more than 30,000. They say 90% of those were poorly trained released prisoners. No wonder Prickozhin has announced they will no longer be recruiting prisoners. 1
willedoo Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Four days to go until the twelve month anniversary of the invasion. Putler is running out of time for a big success story to spin for the sheep at home. 1
kgwilson Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Tonights 4 corners on the ABC was a BBC doco with a Journo who spent a week or so with Ukrainian soldiers on the front line using drones, artillery & mortars & everyday Ukrainians who had joined the fight. It was just before the planned assault to retake Kherson. Well worth watching on iView if you missed it. 2 1 1
willedoo Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Well this will really p**s Putler off; Joe Biden has visited Kyiv in the middle of a war with Russia. He was even spotted going for a jog there this morning. It will be seen as a big up yours to Putin. 2
willedoo Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 He's rubbing it in with the Saint Javelin T-Shirt. 1
Bruce Tuncks Posted February 20, 2023 Author Posted February 20, 2023 I just googled it up.... turns out to be a "religious" type depiction of a Saint with a Javelin anti-tank weapon. 1
facthunter Posted February 20, 2023 Posted February 20, 2023 Pretty effective bit of PR, Putin wouldn't be GAME to do the equivalent. Nev 2 1
kgwilson Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Putin wouldn't even go for a run without a surrounding army of minders. Shirtless on a horse is about all he has ever been able to muster. Then he might have to confront Tony shirtfronting him.😁 3
willedoo Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 On the same day Zelensky was visited in Kyiv by the President of the United States, the only visitor Putler got was his loser mate Steven Seagal. 1 1
willedoo Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 This is an NSV 12.7mm (.50 cal) in melt down mode. I don't know if it's Russian or Ukrainian, but I would guess Russian troops are more likely to let the barrel get to that stage. It was posted by a Russian, so presumably it's one of theirs. 1
facthunter Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 A bit hotter and you'll only shoot yourself in the foot. Nev 2 1
Bruce Tuncks Posted February 21, 2023 Author Posted February 21, 2023 That's why I would like to see Putin challenged for a duel in a paddock with a Ukrainian granny. Of course he would refuse, the point is to show his troops what a coward he is. Don't forget they are a very patriarchal lot and Putin has cultivated a macho image. 1
willedoo Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Putler is not going to get any sort of victory by the 24th to mark the anniversary, so he's organised a big propaganda rally at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow for the 22nd.. It will be the usual cringeworthy event with the little twerp or his body double on stage telling everyone the Special thing is all going according to plan. Add some fireworks, entertainment, ten million Russian flags, Russian Olympians wearing 'Z' symbols; 1930's Germany revisited. 1 1
willedoo Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 Putler's annual address to the Federal Assembly has finished. Just the usual expected drivel - everything's working perfectly in the military and great victories are coming. The economy is booming, I didn't start the war; the Nazis did. And as per usual, alcoholic ex PM, ex President Medvedev fell asleep. 1
willedoo Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 In reference to Biden's speech in Poland and Putin's speech in Moscow yesterday, someone captioned these photos with the words - "Democracy & Biden versus a scared little Russian dictator. Biden talks to thousands of real enthusiastic people. Putin talks to a small silent herd of bored nodding donkeys" 2
facthunter Posted February 21, 2023 Posted February 21, 2023 2 Hours of Predictable ravings to a "forced to be there" audience, compared with Joe's audacious show to a spontaneous audience. Regardless of anything else there's a clear winner and LOSER here. That's what counts. Nev 3 1
