The Beverley Hillbillies were a bit of an extended family. Granny was Jed's mother in law, Ellie May was Jed's daughter and Jethro was the son of Jed's cousin Pearl. Or at least that's the way I remember it. The hint of the actress looking nothing like the character she played made me think of Irene Ryan as I remember that was the case with her..

I formally withdraw the Ringo statement. Ringo's ears are different and he wouldn't have had hair that long in his younger days. That hair is a bit more 70's era.

In thi case, I'll take your word for it. The photo was listed as being Ringo on Facebook, but once you view something on FB it usually disappears, and you cannot backtrack.

 

I say usually, because sometimes, too frequently, a post will keep on cropping up, time after time. For example, a birthday greeting from one of my neices to another, both on my Friends list, has been displayed 3 or 4 times a day for the past 6 days.
