old man emu Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I once stopped that speed demon on the Hume Highway near Goulburn, bowling along at 124 kph in a 100 kph zone. He made amends for his indiscretion by stopping in a small town to speak to a Boy Scout meeting later that evening. I've got his autograph on the back of an RBT test record card. 3 1

nomadpete Posted January 26 Posted January 26 With best intentions, we do our best. In hopes that it helps somebody, sometime, down the track.
facthunter Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Exceeding the speed limit is voluntary in the majority of cases,, IF you ping someone who's only a bit over, you are punishing some one who is more or less, trying to do the right thing. I drive on the GPS speed. Cruise control will save money by not getting over the limit but it does use a bit more fuel. Nev

Have you ever tried to do 10 kph in a carpark? It's been said here before that trying to monitor frequent changes in speed limits is more dangerous than travelling with the flow of traffic. 1

A quick google search on how to get rid of them gave the answer as Apple cider vinegar in a little dish with some washing up liquid. we tried it, and what do you know it worked. In the first hour they were flocking to it, and drowning quickly. since then we have found the source, a bag of lemons and limes got pushed to back of pantry at Christmas time. And disposed of it. here is a picture of the results 3

ClintonB Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Turns out the picture I took was the new batch this arvo, I found the first one from 2 days ago in pantry, chockers full of bugs, but loosing its stink. 1
