red750 Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 Sometimes, TV commercials, and shows, portray the most ridiculous mistakes. If one were to believe the current promotion for My Kitchen Rules running on Channel 7, Nigella Lawson arrived in Australia to do the show in a B-52. The undercarriage shot of the aircraft, the only view of the aircraft, shows this layout of landing gear.
onetrack Posted June 26, 2022 Posted June 26, 2022 The photo doesn't show the wheels on the wingtips that the B-52 possesses. The main undercarriage of the B-52 can also turn 45 degrees. She's one captivating girl. The B-52, I mean.
Old Koreelah Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 8 equal-sized fuselage wheels, which seem to touch down pretty much together. The front ones sure look untidy while being retracted. Where is that airbase?
facthunter Posted June 28, 2022 Posted June 28, 2022 You just fly that sort of plane on. No capacity to land wing down either. Not one to be landed in a storm. (or marshalled into a tight spot. Commercial jets can pivot on the inside mainwheel. the nosewheel goes to almost 90 degrees. Nev 1
Cosmick Posted July 2, 2022 Posted July 2, 2022 Big plane, saw the city of Darwin in the city of Darwin. 1
