Most of the time I get that "Unsafe" message on Social Australia, I just click "advanced" then "proceed to Social Australia (unsafe)". It's a pain, but I never get it on the PC. Thanks Marty, I didn't see the "proceed to" option in small print in advanced mode. Did that and connected ok.
willedoo Posted June 14, 2023 Author Posted June 14, 2023 It must be just an Android glitch. I checked the site certificate on my desktop and it's valid from 18.5.23 to 16.8.23. Also shows it as securely connected via HTTPS. 1 1
red750 Posted September 29, 2023 Posted September 29, 2023 Why do pasted images disappear after a day or two, but uploaded images remain visible?

onetrack Posted September 29, 2023 Posted September 29, 2023 "Pasting" images is simply hotlinking, isn't it? Your image is not on this site, it's actually a link to a website where the image is hosted. Websites hate hotlinking because it eats up their bandwidth, so they cancel hotlinking on a regular basis, as soon as they realise the traffic to the image is peaking.
Jerry_Atrick Posted Sunday at 05:59 PM Posted Sunday at 05:59 PM Hey @Admin (Ian).. Site is really slow at the moment.. Hope it's not a DDOS attack
Grumpy Old Nasho Posted yesterday at 05:39 AM Posted yesterday at 05:39 AM It was slow here for weeks, I think NBN was changing satellites. It's much faster now thank heavens.

Nev Not sure, but they must have done some sort of upgrade maintenance on the satellite system to improve the system's signal, it's pretty fast now. I can tell if it's only bad weather causing a weak signal, maintenance, or heavy internet traffic, each one has it's own characteristic behavior. Leading up to Christmas, during, and after till a week ago, we've had lots of good weather, yet the signal was annoyingly weak all that time, with many pages not loading at all. I discounted bad weather, heavy net traffic, and concluded it was maintenance causing the issue. They don't send emails warning users of disruptions or slowdowns, we're just left wondering what's going on. 1 1
