Bruce Tuncks Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 I have a dog ( dumped on us by the son ) who was once a champion yard dog. She is way too smart for her station in life. She worries too much about things she has no control over. She took weeks before she would trust me not to hit her. Border collies are often too smart like this. 2
Old Koreelah Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 Border collies are perhaps the smartest breed; the beautiful one we had was forever looking for someting useful to do and would regularly go next door to round up the neighbour’s chooks, escort the horses, donkeys and emu around the paddock. 1 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 I was going to post this in the ol' dogos thread, but seeing these two posts, here is appropo: # 3
old man emu Posted February 19, 2023 Author Posted February 19, 2023 I winder if they called the dog "Ian", so when friends come over they can say, "Hello Ian".
onetrack Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 Cattle are quite amusing in their constant curiosity and playfulness. I guess big open paddocks get pretty boring after a while, and anything new is worth a look, and a play with. 2

old man emu Posted February 19, 2023 Author Posted February 19, 2023 In the current climate of banning all things symbolic of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, would Kiss' logo, KIϟϟ, be banned because it resembles the logo of the Schutzstaffel? 1
Marty_d Posted February 19, 2023 Posted February 19, 2023 Dunno. I do remember, when I was young, a very religious cousin earnestly warning me never to listen to KISS because it stood for "Kings In Satan's Service"! Of course, that made it compulsory listening. Reckon they'd have been a fun act to see live.
