facthunter Posted April 8, 2023 Posted April 8, 2023 It's meant to take time.. It's not important enough to lose sleep over. Nev 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Lost the instruction manual of a carpet cleaner we recently purchased. YT is a good back up for instruction manuals! 1

Bruce Tuncks Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 You are a lucky guy Jerry. I didn't lose the instruction manual that came with a borehole pump, but I can't follow the main diagram and I can't find it on the net either. But, while looking, I did find something real important: the aquifer can't supply enough to keep the pump running. I had a valve shutting off part of the flow, but a much better way is to have a partially-open valve to return a %age back down the borehole. This avoids any overheat to the pump. 1 2

facthunter Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 The thing women don't like is YOU proving SHE made the wrong decision. Of course there's a possibility she thought she could fix all your faults and was wrong there also. This advice comes free and is worth what you paid for it.. It is probably too late to be any use except to help you understand why you're like everyone else.. I can't imagine life without mine. Nev 2 1

For a None swearing women : absolabsolutly gobsmacked . Long time ago , but we haven't got that heated since . spacesailor 1
Bruce Tuncks Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Thanks guys, here I was thinking I was the only one.
facthunter Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 Mine have been a bit more medical / associated stress than separation/ loss of communication. Hope I didn't mislead anyone. . She does want to do a lot of the thinking for me but that seems par for the course. Nev 1 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted April 12, 2023 Posted April 12, 2023 (edited) The trick is to sort the wheat form the chaff. The Chaff gets rough after a while and has to be discarded.. (and I am sure the feeling is mutual between all genders). Edited April 12, 2023 by Jerry_Atrick 2
Jerry_Atrick Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 YT is largely a gem.. I fouund this: This is the first year of a very tough three year course and qualification; to buy the books from Kaplan would set you back about £200 and the course for the year is up to £2.5K. It's three years old, and the only thing at this level that would be the ethics standards... So, any youngster or oldster for that matter can do the course to get the qualification. 1 1
facthunter Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Familiarity breeds contempt and we get taken for granted, and likewise the other. Let's face it we are lucky to have anyone who will put up with us. Nev 2 2
facthunter Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Like when you've been spoiled somewhat by little things being done for you. IF you do it for her and your mates notice it will be GEEZ Mate. SHE's got YOU under the thumb.. Or OI, Cut it out .You're letting the side down. Next thing MY missus will be wanting the same IF she gets a wiff of what's going on here. Nev 1 1 1
Jerry_Atrick Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 When my partner and I first got together, she set me an expectation to get her flowers every week. My response was not to count on it; "after all, I'm an Aussie and we just don't to that sort of thing..." and then murmured something about a weekly gig on the kitchen table... 1

facthunter Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Look, to be honest I DON'T HAVE the ANSWER but I think you have to work at it.. I do treat them as People. A test is, IS it a positive experience for BOTH.? Haven't seen any I'd swap her for even IF it was possible. . Nev 2
