Paris was full of those leaning trikes with the dual front wheels when I was there in 2010. I don't know how the mechanism stands up to the constant wear of turning and suspension action.

not necessarily, your missing out on weight transference during cornering.
the load on the inside wheel will be greater then the outside wheel.
and depending on the stage through the corner either the front (entry) or rear (exit) will be loaded differently too.

If you look carefully from the front the wheels are at the same angle to the road as it would be if there was only one and the centre of the weight remains at the middle of the two front wheels if you project the alignment of the steering. Both at the same angle and carrying equal weight till one slips. and then  the other has the lot.  Nev

There's an error there, Sorry the more compressed leg would put a bit more force on the road if we need to adjust for everything.  I definitely prefer a NORMAL set up. I can't see this arrangement being on the race track, soon..  Nev
